On the way Frank decides to not use a RAM HEAP grenade as it would be useful to have the SAW undamaged, so he pops off a burst with his gauss rifle:
Gauss Rifle: [_2d6+4]=(3+2)=5+4=9, locn [1d8]=4, dmg [_2d6+6]=(5+5)=10+6=16
-2 snap-shot, +3 autofire = 10 to-hit, location CHEST, dmg 16 - 6 (cloth) = 10 = serious wound

The Waterfall Firefight Round 1

NB Prerna, Erica and Easy are up one level on the Balcony
Coordinating via Freya's optical feed, the Battle Computer and their comms net the mercs position for a deliberate assault on the Waterfall room.
Freya fires a burst of gauss needles into the vicinity of the target in the spa as Jess' group toss smoke grenades through the NW hatch. The smoke blooms filling the path as it is illuminated by rapid pulses of laser light and then convulses with explosion of a grenade. Frank and Kit ease through the foliage from their western flank entrance and come upon the SAW gunner drawing a laser pistol to engage the Recon unit now visible snapshooting over the balcony. Frank and Kit both open fire and both hit and he goes down falling half in the spa. It appears his SAW is damaged beyond immediate use.
Prerna pops up above the balcony parapet and fires at the gunner of the gatling laser seated behind weapon's tripod. She hits centre mass and he slumps over the weapon. While Erica East takes no action Easy likewise exposes herself to take a snapshot almost directly down onto the grenadier who fires a rifle grenade towards the southwestern hatch. Easy "wings" him and ducks back into cover.
The grenadier begins to react to Easy's fire as a hand grenade bowled by George pitches over him and into the shrubbery behind. Unfortunately for him a second grenade pitched by Nuts lands right next to him and blows him over onto the path where he lies still.
Jakob sprints forwards to the east end of the waterfall and can see a set of "maintenance steps" artfully blended into the terrain leading through the waterfall. He notes that the curtain of water, being entirely decorative, is not going to impede his passage. He is supported by Johnny who runs forward firing from the hip at the insurgent wading along the other side of the pool. Johnny misses as does the surprised man's return fire. Another figure in black CES emerges from the cover of the treeline higher up the bank and immediately shoulders his ACR to place burst in the approaching threats. Carrying the PGMP Nuts goes down with a burst to his shoulder and Johnny grunts and pitches forwards as a burst takes him through the guts. The rifleman's triumph is short lived as Route One puts a burst through his chest. He drops his ACR and slides down the bank unmoving.
After one brutal exchange of fire the only remaining visible enemy is the stunned looking insurgent wading through the pool at the foot of the waterfall. It takes him about half a second to realise that he has fought now the mercs twice. On both occasions they have killed everyone on his side. He drops his weapon in the water and throws up his hands.

OOC: I just need a direction of travel for Jakob. The waterfall is at the deep end of the pool and whilst not powerful enough to generate a hazard itself the water depth requires swimming.

OOC: Behind the waterfall sounds best, it lets Jakob maintain momentum. While he can swim, that's too slow. Also, he's not really aware of what's going on behind him, anyway.

Freya flies in her robot and gets an eagle eye view of the room which she relays to the comm net (and Battle Computer). She notes Prerna and Easy on the balcony accompanied by Erica who is in cover with her back to the parapet and is shadowed by her own robot.

A "general advance" sees all southern elements of the unit surge forward via both hatches to link up with Frank and Kit pushing north and 1st Squad's thrust west.
"It was more the other arm, Sarn't Major" opines Nuts as Jess tends his wound. However, Jess hypocritical(?) oath remains unbroken as she "does no harm" and stabilises his shoulder*. However, her field aid kit is now expended. Kingy and Mike double away carrying the downed Johnny.
The insurgent prisoner wades back towards the mercs looking very anxious not to give any cause for offence.
Kit notes that the spa guy's SAW had been hit in it's front section by gauss needles rendering the weapon unserviceable. Given available the spares it is repairable.
The gatling laser on its tripod mount is also intact.

His ambusher thrusts low and Jakob feels his CES give way over his left thigh. However, the guy in black CES has taken his shot and Jakob's still very much in the fight!
Jakob notes he is in a small maintenance area. Present is a guy trying to kill him (which is his main focus) but there's also another guy (also in black CES) trying to stuff an older out of shape dude in a silk dressing gown and sock suspenders through an access panel in the back wall.

Prerna grabs hold of the handles on the rear of the robot and it speeds from the balcony and through the waterfall depositing her in the "cave" at the back in an explosive spray of water.

Two options: Frank can plunge through the smoke (costing no time but higher risk) or force his way through the shrubbery (slight delay but tactically safer should more hostiles remain).
