Hi
I'm leaving on a work trip and will be back Thursday night.
I won't have regular internet access, so please NPC Azoth for me if you need to keep things moving.

Azoth won't take any of Bruno's advice that is specific to Azoth personally, like putting his hand in a bat's mouth. :D
But he might agree with Bruno's general advice for the party, like sending scouts ahead, etc.

Thanks,
Inferno

Guys, I will be taking a mini vacation starting Wednesday (6/17). It's unlikely I will have internet access until Saturday. Please roleplay Calto as needed to keep things moving.

I just wanted to say "BRAVO!" to Inferno for uttering one of the greatest lines I've read in a PBP game;

Quote: Azoth whispered, "All free beings in this Shrine are malevolent to our cause. If any of you have the power to rend asunder an intangible intelligence, now would be the time to reveal it. "Otherwise, if this vaporous apparition truly possesses sentience, I suggest we lure it back to the cyclonic chamber and let those wild winds tear this mist entity into etheric ribbons." End Quote

That is awesome amigo!

Thanks man.
"Vaporous apparition" is lifted from Ghostbusters' "Free-floating full-torso vaporous apparition." :)

Needless to say, but with Thrasdubal's Terrific Translator spell in effect, Tabai can fully converse with the others for about an hour, so if there's anything you had wanted to say along the way thus far, or about going forward, etc., feel free to do it while the spell lasts.

- Calto Detect Pits duration: 24 rounds.
- Siavel's Panguine Loyal Porter duration left: 6 turns (one hour)

Happy 4th of July all.

I forgot to share this Apocalypto movie trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngWBddVNVZs

It really captures the mood and look of the campaign, particularly the Prologue: Strangers in a Strange Land chapter.

A note about the module text blocks I include. They are very specific in their descriptions but are more than flavor text. Many times they hold clues or details bearing investigation.

I'm going to be travelling for work from Monday morning til Thursday night, and will be unable to post regularly, if at all.
Feel free to NPC my character if you need to, to keep things moving.

Thanks,

My internet is turned off until at least next week and I can only do stuff at the library or at work. So my posting rate is going to take a dive.

Sorry but I’m going to be offline again, for 5 days. Traveling to see family.
I’ll be back Monday.
Please NPC my character if you need to keep things moving.

Azoth will keep attacking the statue with its scepter. Thanks.

I think we could backtrack around the wind room and trap the statue in one of the smaller hallways. We should be able to outrun it while it is still slowed. If we can use the marbles to trip it up, we might be able to smash it while it is trying to recover. Or just trap it somewhere maybe? Or just out run it after we lead it away from us?

Any thoughts?

That or back track and lure it to trigger one of the traps.
