Spelunking with Sam... Wise?
The underground tunnels: Downtown.
Investigating the Hospital Tunnel
August 26, 2018, 10:35 am.
Storming outside, cool, dank & dark.
As the team breaks through they find themselves in what looks like an old maintenance office. There is old tools and machinery strewn about and forgotten. The dust in the room is thick and rises up in moats around your feet. The air is dank and smells heavily of old oil and mold here. Rust seems to dominate most of the room. There are water stains here and there on the walls. A calendar on one of the walls is on Nov. 1930. The 20th, by the brown X's on the numbers that might once have been red.

Creepy, Jason says stretching out the word and looking around keeping the blower parallel to the ground covering the others.

Roy still carrying a proton pack and trap keeps quiet having little to add to the conversations.

Sam Strickland
“Well...isn’t this a time capsule into another time.”, Sam says as he pokes around on the workbench with his non-sticky hand. “Look at these old boxes and tools, they have a charm about them don’t they?”
Sam looks for anything that captures his interest on the table and looks carefully at the calendar.

Joker
I have an uncle who would give his left hand to go through this room. He collects old tools- always going on about 'mint condition Stanleys' and 'maker's marks' and who knows what else.
Joker moves slowly, trying to avoid stirring up dust. He paints a large and un-necessary 'X' on the wall beside the hole, then consults his PKE again. He points toward the Class 4, based on his readings.
We go that way, gentlemen.. and lady.

Sam finds and interesting corkscrew drillbit.

Joker sees a sudden spike in PKE activity! The sensor indicators go all the way up! Everything in the room begins to rattle.
Dust stirs at your feet and off that walls and workbenches.
Everyone give me a hard moves!
Jamie:
Jamie Hard Moves v 20 [1d6] = 3 g: [1d6] = 4 3bps: [3d6] = 10

Sam Strickland
Sam grabs the corkscrew bit with his sticky hand, “drat it, that chewing gum...”, he curses and sticks the sticky bit into a pocket along with some threads of chewing gum. The hand comes back out with a bit of lint and thread stuck to it.
Sam climbs up onto the sturdy work surface and crouches behind a steel tool chest pressing his body against the wall and making himself small. His curly mop of hair projects visibly over the chest and he gets some grease on his shirt.
Hard Moves, add 3BP [6d6] = 21, Ghost [1d6] = 5
Inventory now has the corkscrew bit

Hrothgar Strickland
Hrothgar is uncertain about why he is feeling agitated but it probably has something to do with a lack of food. He is prowling around the office looking for scraps.

Lionel "Freight Train" Williams
Lionel stands near Jamie, ready to interpose himself between her and any threat if it becomes necessary.

If Dodge is not applicable, he'll use 3 BPs so the number of dice rolled is the same. If something is flying toward Jamie, he will move so it hits him instead of allowing it to hit her- effectively Dodging into the object.[/spoiler]
I'll allow it

Spelunking with Sam... Wise?
The underground tunnels: Downtown.
Investigating the Hospital Tunnel
August 26, 2018, 10:40 am.
Storming outside, cool, dank & dark.
Everything not nailed down begins to rattle in place like there was an earthquake.
Joker: Company coming! as the PKE suddenly spikes. Tools and debris begin to pick up from all directions and shoot across the room in all directions.
Jamie's first instinct is to take a knee, but
Lionel interposes himself between her and the room, knocking them both back behind the wall they came in from.
Since you came up just shy of making an impossible roll of 40, so combined with her roll that came up just short you are both good.
Sam manages to find cover, move that a few projectiles bounce off the wall and his hiding place, but he remains untouched.
Mac is dodging one way and at the last minute manages to shift his bulk to roll the other and avoid getting a sharp-looking screwdriver to the head and manages to also find a temporary hiding spot next to
Jason behind an old laith which is literally bolted to the concrete floor.
Roy jumps quickly, falling under a workbench and crawling under it, just managing to avoid being caught in the loud fray of lost tools, nails, and screws.
Joker, his eye ever on the PKE and trying to warn the others, doesn't move in time and is caught in the middle of the genetically charged shrapnel.
Debris Storm [3d6] = 15
He gets covered in lacerations and puncture wounds and when everything finally settles, he is a bloody mess with knocks, bruises, and many rusty protrusions around his body. He will most definitely need a tetanus shot... And probably some stitches.
The PKE goes back to before and all three Ghosts are moving around again close but no direct alarms. There is a disembodied voice that rumbles around the room:
I will drink your souls.
Jason can hear
Jack's voice in the distance:
Hey! Hey you! Yeah, you big ugly! Stop playing with those meatbags and come get a bite of me! There is an ominous feeling in the air but it suddenly disappears and the PKE shows
Jack and the
More Aggressive Ghost move away quickly,
Jack apparently drawing him away again. The weaker ghosts seem to have regained some strength but has moved to the farthest possible distance from both you and the other ghosts.
The room has gone eerily silent other than your own groans of pain.
Jamie somehow managed to keep her phone up and catch poor
Joker getting the brunt of the attack by the ghost. Still she grunts as she get up to a sitting position and rubs her head, smoothing some hair out of her eyes as she points her phone around seeing first
Lionel Thanks... I thought... *gasp!* oh my god! her phone turns to look at Joker still standing there and riddle with... admittedly, light wounds, but so many of them it looks horrifying. She is wide-eyed but freezes a little, unable to do anything with the ex-linebacker still between her and the opening to the room.
Okay, so Joker looks like a secondhand Pinhead and is bleeding a lot, and of course 15 damage is nothing to sneeze at, but any one of the wounds would be called mostly superficial, but it is about how they added up and how quickly it happened from all directions. I need a moderate Muscle roll from Joker to see if your body can absorb the shock of it, or has to give out and hit the reset button for a round.

Sam Strickland
Sam huddles in his spot against the chest having felt a hardware store shelf’s worth of tools, nuts, and bolts clattering against the steel chest and wall around him. A few bits nestle into spots in Sam’s curly hair.
“Is everyone alright?”

Lionel "Freight Train" Williams
Getting up, Lionel checks on Jamie. Are you ok? Helping her up, he notices Joker has been injured. Hey! Are you alright, Joker? He'll try helping pick shrapnel out of the injured Ghostbuster. Did anybody see the ghost? Was it in the room?
