Crapping himself

In case Vorkath didn't grab him in time.....
Dex check (13) [1d20] = 19 Oh-Oh!
If Vorkath DID grab him in time....(please?)
Of course I can! But if you think I'm going to stay in there by myself with these giant flying cleavers everywhere YOURE CRAZY!!! I'd be dead in seconds!
Tibbius mutters the word needed to cast his knock spell on the door. Beleg!

Agrippo uses his spear to balance across the bridge, "easy as pie" he says, "steak and kidney".. Waving to the others he will move up the stairs towards the door, shield ready for defensive action.

That was the "don't roll a 1" roll for slipping on the bridge.

But Agrippo also needs a dex check now to see if he can stay on the stairs without falling. Stirling, please roll another d20.

Robert examines the situation as best he can from the distance he is from the tower door. "Hmm would it not just be wiser for the flying person to attempt the door seeing as it appears every time someone sets foot on the towers surface it tremors." granted only Tumbler can hear him.

Tibbius slips on the shaking stairs. He falls right into the waiting arm of Vorkath. The paladin hovers in the air, his shield in one hand, Tibbius in the other. The halberds move back towards the wall.

Iluq and Agrippo cross the bridge. Agrippo continues on up the shaking stairs. The halberds start to converge on him. He makes it up a few steps before he is thrown into the empty shaft in the middle of the tower! Agrippo plummets for a moment then suddenly slows down. He floats toward the bottom of the tower as gently as a feather. The halberds again retreat to the wall.

Tibbius, cradled in Vorkath's arm, speaks the word "sesame" and the door at the top of the tower swings open. "If you think I'm going to stay in there by myself with these giant flying cleavers everywhere YOURE CRAZY!!!" he tells Vorkath.

The open door awaits... Status: Agrippo: 46/52, Vokath: 32/36, Tibbius: 14/22, Randolph: 4/4, Iluq: 25/34, Tumbler: 24/39, Robert: 20/27

Robert hoping the door is open hesitates to think how he will prevent from floating off hesitates to open his potion and drink it. "Hmm Tumbler what on earth is preventing me from floating off. I have this rope but I doubt Vorkath is holding our rope ends any more...... Lets find something to secure the rope on before I go drinking this potion."

"Good job!" says Vorkath to Tibbius as the door is knocked open. The flying paladin tries to angle himself for a view through the door. "Do you see anything with your infravision?" he asks the elf prince.

While Tibbius is looking, Vorkath concentrates his Detect Evil sense in the area.

The holy warrior sees the others below. He wonders why Iluq risked crossing the bridge when he was to be flown next.

Depending on what they see through the door... Vorkath will enter or wait for the others to levitate up.

Iluq, feeling foolish, waits with the others for any words from Vorkath and Tibbius.

Robert hopefully finds something secure to tie the other end of his rope to. Then will drink the levitation potion still not sure how he can direct himself into the doorway. Provided Vorkath or someone can grab him and push him into the tower he will inform Vorkath "Our locksmith Tumbler is still down there Vork."

There isn't really anywhere to tie a rope. It's basically bare stone up here:

.... well what the heck was the point in Tumbler and I tying rope around ourselves and handing them to Vorkath?

I figured he just held the rope while you crossed. He's a big strong paladin who could probably stop you from falling, but wouldn't be able to carry you while flying.

Tibbius, shaking badly, will strain his eyes and try to search beyond the now opened door with his infravision.

Tumbler ties out an idea and touches the wall above the stair with his hands but does not actually set foot on the step.
He watches to see if the floating halberds are triggered or not.

If nothing happens he will attempt to climb up a foot or two along the wall and see if there is any change.

The door open, Vorkath and Tibbius plan their next move. The flying paladin tries to angle himself for a view through the door. "Do you see anything with your infravision?" he asks the elf prince. The party's light sources interfere with Tibbius's infravision; he can't tell whether anything is beyond the door. But you can see that the stairs continue up past the door. While Tibbius is looking, Vorkath concentrates his Detect Evil sense in the area. He senses a faint aura of evil.

Robert ties a rope to himself and drinks his potion of levitation. He steps off the ledge and floats up the tower shaft like a party balloon.

Tumbler wonders if maybe it's only the stairs that set off the shaking. He touches the wall above the stair with his hands. The tower shudders just enough to convince the dwarf that trying to climb the walls would not be a good idea.

Iluq stays on the landing waiting for any words from Vorkath or Tibbius. Agrippo continues to float gently to the floor of the tower far below. The glass heart continues to pulse, filling the tower with an eerie, throbbing red light.

Vorkath, paladin

"If I deposit you inside the doorway, and no halberds attack, would you be comfortable there while I get Iluq?" asks Vorkath of Tibbius. "Or we could wait until Robert arrives, and both of you try the inside doorway while I get Iluq."
