Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Vorkath considers the door issue while Iluq considers the equipment shedding issue. "Perhaps I take Tibbius up first and he Knocks the door open?" wonders the paladin aloud.

Iluq drops what is needed and is ready to be lifted.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Now wait just one minute! says Tibbius Im sure you can see that I am less than 5 feet tall and under 100 lbs. right? I think there are a lot better choices for one of us to knock that door in......oh.....wait.....you're talking about the spell aren't you? he says, looking embarrassed Oh ya, I guess I could do that if you think its the best way. Tibbius seems somewhat afraid of the dizzying heights he will soon have to deal with.
Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
So, just to clarify the revised plan: Vorkath drinks the potion of flight and carries Tibbius to the door. That's a 6" movement rate if Tibbius's equipment comes later or 3" if he brings equipment with him. Will Vorkath set Tibbius down at the door, or try to hold Tibbius in front of the door while he casts the spell?

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert waits until the door is opened to drink his levitation potion to get up there.

You could drop off Tumbler instead and he can attempt to lockpick the door if necessary.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Vorkath, Agrippo, Iluq, and Tibbius are all on the top of the south tower, south of the bridge to the north tower. Tumbler and Robert are just north of the stairs, on a landing/outcropping of the north tower. They have not set foot on the stairs yet. The door to the top of the north tower is 50' up the stairs, a 100' lateral walk away from where Tumbler and Robert now stand.

So wait they left me and tumbler alone over here to go up into that tower? This one over here has the light I thought why else would we run over here?

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Yes, that's the direction everyone is trying to go. Tumbler and Robert did it right away, risking a small chance of slipping and falling off the bridge between towers. Vorkath and the others are taking a more cautious approach. But everyone is moving toward the north tower, yes.

Robert "Well Tumbler it looks like the others are coming this way slowly if anything. Once we are all here we might find a way to fly you up there unless you would like to use my levitation potion."

Tumbler has a look of concern on his face, I dont want to be floating around with the halberds coming at me. I'd be a pin cushion in a sec.

Robert "How do you think I feel I'm about worthless in this environment."

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
With a grin Tumbler replies Bah, yer useless in every environment! His grin fades quickly as he takes stock of the area around them, Truth is I feel pretty useless too. I wish I had the faith and favor of a God these days instead of just knowing how to build a lock...
Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Agrippo is ready to cross the daunting bridge. Anything floating or flapping this way out of the skies?

After much deliberation, you settle on a plan.
Agrippo prepares to cross the bridge. Some bats are hanging nearby, but none seem to be interfering with bridge crossings.
Vorkath helps Iluq remove his gear for the second trip to the top of the tower. The paladin opens Iluq's pack and digs around in it. "Where is the potion?" he says. Iluq clears his throat and pulls the potion of flight from his belt pouch.
The rest of you stand and watch as Vorkath downs the potion. He can fly! Vorkath Tsaridian the flying faith hunter! He would be tempted to do some aerial tricks, but there is work to be done. He picks up Tibbius and suddenly has all the speed and maneuverability of an airborne slug.
Struggling to stay aloft, he slowly carries the magic user over the bridge and into the north tower. The huge heart-shaped gem at the top of the tower continues to pulse, but when Vorkath flies into the shaft the tower does not shake and the halberds remain on the wall. Three minutes after he set out, Vorkath reaches the door at the top of the stairs. He sets Tibbius down in front of the door.
The moment Tibbius's foot touches the stairs, the tower starts shaking again! Halberds fly off the walls at Vorkath and Tibbius. Tibbius struggles to keep his footing as the stairs shake beneath his feet!
Ogre Mage: Please roll a d20. If you roll above your dexterity, Tibbius falls off the stairs and starts to plunge 240 feet to the stone floor of the tower.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert watches the odd spectacle and awaits the outcome he won't move or drink his levitation potion until the door is opened at the top of the tower. "Look out for flying Halberds!"

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Vorkath, flying
Thinking the tower reacted to Tibbius setting foot on it, Vorkath darts over to pick up the green elf. He keeps him suspended while bringing his shield around.
"Can you cast a spell from here to open that door? If you get inside the tower perhaps it won't be as belligerant."
