Blake will go back down the stairs since there are no rooms up here. He will go downstairs and investigate the rooms and closets before going anywhere else.

Going back down to the first floor, he searches through the rooms around and takes note what he sees. There is an abandoned pool room part bar, a fancy dining area for the built in restaurant, and a connecting lounge between these rooms that have two vending machines and a set of elevators. Looking into those rooms consumes about 1 minute of your time while superspeeding. They all appear abandoned and aged, but the electricity is on in all of the rooms, though you don't know if any of the stuff works.

Blake takes note of where the vending machines are, to come back to later on to see if the food inside if there is any is still edible. He also will search the bar to see if there is any left alcohol to perhaps take back to his room later. After that he will go down one of the hallways and search any and all rooms that are down there. Then he will circle back and go down the other hallway doing the same.

In the last 4 minutes of your time, you go through supply cabinets and restrooms and numbered rooms, salvaging items of interest as you go, including the forementioned items. During your time in the dining area and their kitchens, you were able to find some leftover reserves of alcoholic drinks as well as some of other long lasting foodstuffs like canned foods and pickled fruits/vegetables (enough of a supply to last you a few days if eaten in moderation). The vending machines hold an assortment of candy bars and chips, the one's next to it holding soda products and water. Your venture into the supply cabinets and janitor closets found you some towels and other building miscellany as well as some basic cleaners; most importantly though, you also found a master card in that search.

All of the searching and hauling of goods will take roughly the last of your 5 minutes. If you decide not to grab everything and just check the places out, I will continue providing updates on the other side of the hotel. Know that if you grabbed supplies along the way, and stashed them into a room, your character would have only mapped out half the place, at least on the first floor. If you picked a room to keep your findings at, I will need to know where it is located (near the entrance? situated next to a staircase perhaps? at the end of a corridor near some doors leading to outside? a room in the middle of a whole bunch? maybe you didn't even pick a room and decided to set up shop somewhere else?).
Know also that there are about 3 more levels above you to explore if you wish.

Blake does take the keycard and stashes the items he wishes to take with him after by the entrance door. He then will proceed further into the hotel stopping and searching one room at a time. Unfortunately I think I need some form of a map.

Here is that map to get you started. I think its easy enough to read, but just in case, the black squares represent doors, the curved lines the staircases from earlier. The first floor is floor A, and the rooms are found in the upper right side of the map.

Send Blake to explore the area with the water I assume I have not searched all of that area. Then the big unexplored location of that map. :D

Your five minute head start has finished. As Hot Streak starts to peer out into the outdoor pool area, he can hear the sounds of water gushing, rippling violently. Blake watches as the second pool farthest from slowly parts into two, revealing a rising platform. On top of the platform is a squad of ichnorite zombie soldiers, armed with strange looking guns and plated in half fashioned armors. There are 5 of them, and they all start to look around from their position, taking in their environment.

will provide and image of them when I can, site is blocking my pc for some reason, not letting me access my picture archive...

Odd.

Blake will start the battle off then and blast a fireball at the group.

While the mutated soldiers still look around the area, Hot Streak takes advantage of this and launches a surprise fireball attack. To HIS surprise, it misses completely and blasts the area right next to them! They all look to his direction, following the trail of the fire attack, and spot Hot Streak. The big armored soldier raises his hand, telling the others to hold fire. He then motions for them to split up, sending two each to each side of the hotel. His gaze then transixes on you once more, pulling out a gun of his own. The gun, is of course..... bigger and looks like it can pack a punch. The heavily armored soldier kneels to the ground and brings it to his shoulder. Actions and or rolls please. :)

Blake makes a strategic retreat. To the upper balcony thing.

He reaches the balcony with little trouble. As Hot Streak slows down and turns around in the few seconds he took to reach this spot, he feels an explosion erupt from underneath. Waves of green vapors start to pour forth from underneath, the same sort of radiation that he experienced on the mutated island. Looking down, he noticed that the gun that was fired almost completely demolished the sign in desk area, leaving the area in a smoking green wreck, stuff half melted, others burnt to ash, all in an erie green glow.

You can hear the sounds of the mutant creatures howling. Though the howls are far away, you can tell that they come from both sides of the hotel. You do not know which floor though...

at this time Blake aka Hot Streak is going to hide up above in the balcony area and watch the way he came from.

Looking just over the edge of the balcony, you can see the big armored soldier approach the blast site and survey the area. He does not find any trace of you and looks towards the front entrance, walking slowly towards it.

Blake wins initiative due to the fact that this is another surprise attack.

Hot Streak sends forth a scorching fireball striking the super soldier square in the back in an intense heat of flames. The soldier staggers forward, but does not lose his footing. He stops and then slowly turns his head to the balcony, raising his enormous shoulder mounted gun once again, a laser targeter pointing straight at Hot Streak. The sounds of mutant howling can be heard coming closer to the left of the balcony (second floor and it would be on your character's right).

End of Round 1
Battle Results: Hot Streak performs a successful sneak attack, launching a fireball at the super soldier in front of him on the ground floor. It deals 40 points of damage and that leaves 18 charges left for the pyro pack.

Blake superspeeds to the other end of the balcony and apparently fails to run faster than normal tripping on his own two feet.

As Hot Streak tries to superspeed away, the soldier fires upon the balcony, destroying the flooring where he was just a second ago. The shockwaves of the explosion and the flying debris throws Blake off balance and sends him to the ground. There is no way to access the western side of the hotel without using either the ground floor or the floors above now. You are posed with a choice now. Risk going to the ground floor and retreat to the areas you already explored or continue your exploration of the area on the second floor up, while increasing the chances of bumping into the other soldiers that scattered earlier.
