Robert "I'd swear that the stone it's self in that tower is living."
The road winds ever upwards and the rocks themselves live here! yes that appears true.

Iluq watches the tower and that red light. "Finding a power of good is great and all but... Shouldn't we be focusing on getting Ireena back?"

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert once reunited again with the others "Yes we should but where in this forsaken place could she even be? Plus we are at a loss here seeing as this is not our advantage Lord Strahd knows the ins and outs of his home and we are not at all familiar with it. He could have taken here anywhere. We need to try for Ireena but we also should fear for our own fates in this place."

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
"I agree, I do worry for our safety in this place but more so Her... What can she do against such monsters?" Iluq then turns to the group, "Do we try our luck then for that power in the living tower or do we continue to ascend this one in hopes of finding her?"

Robert "I don't know. But I do know that there are more wraiths here and I cannot take another battle against them. I'm already down a lot from where I was when we entered this hellish place."

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Vorkath, paladin
The paladin's martially trained mind considers strategic options. He recalls past exploits with his fellow adventurers. He offers ideas.
"Agrippo is safe from falling with his Ring of Feather Falling. Tibbius could borrow it, cross, cast Knock on the door. Then have his cat bring the ring back to us, and we each cross in turn wearing the ring."
"Or Agrippo lends Robert his Ring of Feather Falling, and the druid crosses and employs His Stone Shape dweomer to open a doorway through tower wall to the inside. Then we all proceed up."
"If Stone Shape requires time to pray and acquire, then we would have more options such as Fly."
"I'm afraid Ireena is gone from us. I pray for her soul."

Tumbler chimes up, If we mean to head back over just be aware aside from the shaking there are flying halberds and who know what else to deal with.

Robert "Yes pardon my forgetfulness when trying to remember what spells I once knew I failed to mention there are flying halberds on the other side that appear to be wielded by something unseen."

"We posses means of flying, climbing, and turning gaseous," says the holy warrior.
"If this be the weapon of light prophesized, and the tower defenses imply its importance, than it may be time to consider our magical items," says Vorkath. "For the weapon is likely one of the only ways we can challenge Strahd."Grognardsw wrote:Vorkath, paladin...

Robert while in discussion with his friends will casually eat his last goodberry.

Iluq will half listen to the group as they make plans, his thoughts floating towards Ireena's whereabouts and if she is harmed.

Robert moves back inside out of the rain despite his friends still chatting away in the storm.

Back down the stairs in the south tower, I presume?
