Ptah-Kahtmak, Y'Mataar, Inside Templar House- upstairs

Ptah moves past Mukuli to the next door. He mimes to indicate the theif should move into position by the door and then he would open it. When finished he looks to Mukuli expectantly.

Hemlocks, if you fine with this plan, just go ahead and have Ptah open the door as part of your post.

******Mukuli, Thief, Y'Mataar, Inside Templar House ***

Securing the maid's hands, feet and mouth with rope, Mukuli watches as Ptah-Kahtmak goes over to the other door and opens it.
Can you draw the building out? I am getting confused as to the placement of stairs and the various other rooms. Like is the second door reached by walking outside the balcony or is it within the room?

Opening the door it leads into a small drawing room consisting of little more than a small side table and a pair of stuffed chairs beside it. There is a door in the north wall, and a door in the south wall.

Sargon will wait quietly for 5 minutes and if he doesn't hear any signs of struggles or searching, he will cautiously open the trap door and go looking for the others.

******Mukuli, Thief, Y'Mataar, Inside Templar House ***

Heading downstairs, Mukuli calls out for the others, in hushed words"Guys, come up the stairs. Think we found something." He than heads back up the stairs and searches the room for the map, keys or any other items that might be of interest($$$).

"For I forget, Ptah-Kahtmak can you search the maid for keys or anything we could use"?

Ptah-Kahtmak, Y'Mataar, Inside Templar House- upstairs

Ptah moves over and squats next to the unconscious woman. His fingers flexing on the hilt of his dagger, he contemplates her fate. Judging her unworthy of sacrifice, he sheaths his dagger before rummaging through her clothing, searching for anything useful.

Ari-nasir shrugs and steps from his concealment. He nods to his friend Arngrim, "I've been on worse jobs. Come, let us see what mysteries and fortune are before us upstairs."

Ari-nasir will take a moment to brace the ground floor doors to make it more difficult for someone to enter the house and then head upstairs.

Pilfering through the room Mukuli finds a small purse with a dozen iron coins in it but no keys, or maps.

Ptah-Kahtmak. As you look at the woman you judge that any attempts to sacrifice her may be too late. It would appear that when Mukuli's dagger struck her temple he fractured her skull, killing her. That said, as you rummage through her clothing you do find a large key that appears to be sized to fit both doors in the drawing room.

Ptah-Kahtmak, Y'Mataar, Inside Templar House- upstairs

"The desires of man are nothing compared to the whims of the gods," replied Ptah to Mukuli's lamantation about the dead woman.

"All she had was this key. Perhaps to one of the doors here," he added, tossing the key to the theif.

Sargon slowly makes his way upstairs, searching for the rest of the party. Spotting the rest of them on the balcony, Sargon will patrol the balcony while the party searches the rooms.

Standing up, Mukuli goes to each door and listens. He waits near the north door until the rest of the party gathers up and are ready to move on.

Listening at the doors you hear nothing from either. As quietly as possible you turn the key in the lock and push the door open. It opens into a luxuriously appointed bedchamber. Rich tapestries hang on the walls, and a large bed dominates the room. There is also a wardrobe in one corner.

"Nice!" Mukuli starts to rummage through the room for small items, of value, to place within his back pack. Also, looking for any clues as to what this cult is and that maps location.
Please roll for his find traps(+1) an any other rolls needed. For there is a known issue with the dice roller not working for some people. I just happen to one of them :?

Unfortunatly there are no real clues regarding the map, but you do find a number of small items, including a pair of pewter candle sticks, a small silver bowl, with a few coins (12 BP, 6 IP)

"Perhaps good friends, this map is hidden? Such an open devotee of the sorcerous queen must surely be housing greater secrets somewhere. Perhaps, a closer look for that which is not immediately apparent is in order."

Ptah checks to see if the wardrobe is locked. "Perhaps it is kept within."
