Okay, here is what's what. Permafrost's ice attack was actually stronger than her stated roll due to my choosing the higher rank value possiblities. When attacking with elemental control, you have the choice of either using the power's rank value as your damage output or your coordination rank +10. Your coordination was higher, so you dealt 50 points of damage instead of 30.

None of the creatures have been able to make it through the partially open doors yet, so I will stick with your previous rolls MonkeyWrench. When engaging in melee attacks with an enemy, you will use your melee stat as your to hit, your brawn as your damage. If your melee stat is high enough to hit the current enemy, 8/10 times it will be enough, then the brawn will kick in and you will do damage equal to its rank value. The only time I will ask you to roll the percentile when attacking is if you declare that you want hold back on killing intent (subdual damage) or do something crazy ridiculous (like run off a wall and use your falling momentum to supercharge a fist attack.... on a villian that is superspeeding by).

The creature on the left goes limp, killed by the ice shard blast. The doors slide open with the combined efforts of the last two creatures. The one with the limp arm charges at Raven, looking ready to bite and claw him, the other creature charges at Permafrost, glowing green with rage. You used up the rest of the ice during your last attack.

Permafrost looks to the ceiling. How high is it?
If it's more than 12': "Hang on to me!" she shouts to Raven and generates an ice block under them to get them up out of reach.
If less than 12': Permafrost generates ice to make a cage around the creatures.

Permafrost Generate Ice [1d100+60] = 78+60 = 138

The room's ceiling is roughly 10', give or take a few inches. How tight of a cage are we talking?

If it's too tricky to adjust the height to trap them, she can make it all the way to the ceiling.
Her awareness score as a character is better than mine as a player.

With a quick thrust of the arms, Permafrost generates an icy cage, wrapping it around the two charging creatures, a tight fit that leaves them struggling to get out. The ice holds fast and it looks like they might be stuck in there for some time...

Raven puts his arms down but does not relax entirely, looking at the cage of ice he remarks, "Well then... that's certainly one way to stop them." He pats Elsa on the shoulder before moving a bit forward to get a better look at the things, to see how they act or if they seem intelligent.

Oooo how daring, already on a physical contact basis with her I see... lol

The creatures flail around in side, their arms shooting out, trying to break free. The sounds they make are unintelligable, a serious of inhuman growls, screeches and something else, yet they look humanoid. What could have possibly happened for something like this to be born, one would wonder?

Both of you go ahead and make an awareness check for me.

As Permafrost speaks her mind, she takes a closer look at the humanoid creatures and finds some bar codes ironed into their skin. Something that would typically be found on prisoners. Raven however, notices something from across the open doors. In a corridor connecting to the wrecked lab, he caught a glimpse of something large passing by, almost like a blur. It too was green in color.

The creatures before you two are now trying to break through the icy bars containing them. Trying to shatter them with claw swipes and biting. Already, the ice starts to show some fracturing.

Raven watches the corridor past the doors for any other sign of movement, "There was something big back there I think, we should be careful..." Raven looks at the Ice cage and thinks for a moment, "Can you manipulate the ice cage anymore?"

"I'm still learning the extent of what I can do." Elsa says, staring at the green creatures.
"What did you have in mind?" she asks looking over at the corridor.

Deja Vu?

Raven looks at the cage as the creatures thrash and try to break out, "I don't know, can you create spikes along the bars? or maybe even move the bars in after that to create a sort of spike trap. I'm just not sure what to do with them, they obviously have a lot of strength..."

Well... I don't want to sound like an advocate for violence or anything but, that falcon punch earlier was able to make a strong arm go limp instantly, and that ice shard attack killed another creature in but one move, not too mention the ice spike from even earlier on... you guys could certainly just take them out if you deem them too dangerous to leave alone.

Raven looks at the glowing creatures, "Look at their eyes, those aren't human... there's no saving these poor souls except for a quick and painless death..." Raven seems to be struggling with accepting the words he just spoke aloud, after a moment he seems to have collected himself, "Whatever the case may be we cannot let them stay here to break out and come find us later. We have to either contain them so that they cannot break out or end their suffering, what do you think?"

Permafrost sighs wearily.
"They will kill us If they escape." she whispers more trying to convince herself.

She raises her hands with fingers spread. As she draws her fingers together icy spikes form on the inside of the cage.
She shuts her eyes and quickly closes her hands into fists causing Long ice sickles to spear the helpless contents.

The encounter with the creatures is now finished. They lay on the ground bleeding their very green goo. The remaining ice poofs into Permafrost's signature snowflakes and an erie silence fills the air once again. The flickering of lights in the ruined labratory, the sparks flying from broken cables and wiring, computers that are still working, humming in the background.

Raven, as you enter the room and look around the place, please peform an intellect check for me.

As Raven explores the wrecked labratory, he tries to recollect whether he knows this area or not. Nothing, his mind still sears with pain as he tries to think about it. All that comes to mind is how he woke in a similiar room, with shattered glass, only there are no dead bodies here.
