Re: 3. Castle Ravenloft
"Vorkath thanks for the warning, I imagine that is a living armor your words are well heeded friend." After saying that Robert begins to show his slight adjustment in attitude as he appears to be getting a little upon edge and a bit more nervous than his complacent attitude prior to the entry of the castle. [Robert is getting a bit scared]
You can hear a slight fear in Roberts tones. Still he gives his smug smile back to try and hide it.

Re: 3. Castle Ravenloft
Iluq Stays with the group, his hammer at the ready, speaking softly to himself as he speaks to his God. "As I walk these halls grant me the power to vanquish any evil that crosses our path, I do this in your name Fenmarel." After doing so he keeps his eyes up and open, looking through the area, making a mental note to keep a watch on the armor as he watches out for the group. As the Paladin gets to the door and peeks inside he keeps himself ready for whatever they may find.

Re: 3. Castle Ravenloft
Agrippo will check out the suit of armour at the point of his spear, carefully lifting the visor and if the weapon is serviceable, add it to party equipment.

Our Paladin might disagree with that statement.

Re: 3. Castle Ravenloft
Robert just continues to follow the group remembering to stop ever so often and again check behind the group to see if we are being followed. "Well I see we are not above stealing from a most powerful foe. Though I would rather not further anger one such as Strahd. You can do as you wish, I'll just turn a blind eye to it all." Robert says beginning to regain his wits and sense of humor/sarcasm.

Robert hangs to the back and watches the gargoyles to see if they’ve moved at all. They remain as still as statutes. Or as creatures made of stone.
Iluq says a prayer and tries to prepare himself for what’s behind the doors.
Agrippo examines the gleaming suit of armor, using his spear to lift the visor. Inside is only empty space. The suit of armor holds a great sword, which Agrippo appropriates.
Vorkath takes a quick peek through the doors. As the organ notes swell to a crescendo that resonates in your very bones, he kicks the door open with a crashing boom!
Beyond the door is a magnificent 40-foot square room, brilliantly lit by three massive crystal chandeliers. Pillars of stone stand against dull white marble walls. In the center of the room, a long, heavy table stands covered with a fine white satin cloth. The table is laden with delectable foods of every type: roast beast basted in a savory sauce, roots and herbs of every taste, sweet fruits and vegetables, and delicate pastries and chocolates. Seven places are set, one for each of you, with fine delicate china and silver. At each place there is a crystal goblet filled with an amber liquid with a fragrance that tantalizes your senses. There's even a small crystal bowl on the floor near the end of the table, filled with tender bits of meat for Randolph Cat.
At the center of the far west wall, between floor-to-ceiling mirrors, stands a massive organ. Its pipes blare out a thunderous melody that offers in its tone greatness and despair. Seated before the keys, its back towards you, a single caped figure pounds the keys in raptured ecstasy.
The figure suddenly stops and a deep silence falls over the dining hall. The figure slowly turns toward you.
“Good evening,” he says in a deep, heavily-accented baritone voice. “Welcome to my humble home. You have traveled far this day, and must be famished. Please, help yourselves to dinner.”

Iluq, being a Cleric of Good and obviously knowing what is going on is with Vorkath in attempting to defeat evil.

Robert does not take a seat or eat any of the food.

Robert having not forgotten manners says "Thank you lord for having us to your home." then he makes a half bow.

Re: 3. Castle Ravenloft
Agrippo sees the cloaked figure playing and the food on the table. Keeping his guard up he will nevertheless be tempted and pull a fine leg of mutton (goat, camel, dog, ....he's eaten all before) and take a bite, eyeing everyone suspiciously."mans' gotta eat hasn't he?"After a big meaty mouthfull he will comment to the organist, "Come Strahd, abandon your seat at the pipes and sit with us here, there's room for eight and we can converse besides", Agrippo will move a chair with one foot sliding it across the floor towards the figure.

Re: 3. Castle Ravenloft
Robert still standing walks over to the table near Agrippo and grabs some of the fruit and starts eating a big juicy piece of fruit. Still watching the others and always keeping Strahd within eyesight. "Thank you for the food Lord." Robert says again not entirely forgetting manners.

Iluq stands by the door, eyeing his two companions, looking for any differences in them after eating the food, as well as keeping a watch on Strahd. His hand rests on his hammer but he will not sit down or eat any food right now. "Yes, we appreciate the invitation and hospitality so far."

Tumbler scoffs at the idea of eating the food. Fattening us up before the slaughter eh? No thanks. He looks around for a candle or soemthing to light his pipe. This dwarf is not for eating.

Robert looks at Tumbler chuckles and then hands a cup with the amber looking liquid in it. "I know you might not like eating before a fight but I know Dwarves like to drink. Here tell me if this is any good Tumbler."

Re: 3. Castle Ravenloft
Vorkath senses with disappointment that the group is not going to attack Strahd in tandem. The vampyre has tried to kill us, slain countless over his immortal life, terrorized a town for centuries, and you want to break bread and show manners!? thinks the paladin in righteous rage. There is no place for such evil in Vorkath Tsaridian's philosophy.
The Guardian of Truth approaches to about ten feet from the vampyre. "By the holy and lawful power of the True God, I turn you!" he says holding up his holy symbol. To no effect.
Turn [1d20] = 2
