Garrant

The wizard assesses the situation and realises the optimum time for the safe use of Lightning Bolt has passed so instead he casts Magic Missile on A.

Since a few of our players have ghosted the game I will act for them.

Siouxsie

Wanting to tip this encounter into the parties favor, she calls a blessing down and cast Faerie Fire on the two creatures.

Hex

Seeing the fire being moving quickly down the hill he will cast Paralyzation trying to get it done before he gets in hand-to-hand range. "Raffi move back"

Raffi

Raffi hears his masters orders and moves back from the incoming creature. Raffi slides a bit on the way down, but maintains his control.

DEX [_4d6]=(2+4+5+5)=16

Frannie

Not wanting to get into the hand-to-hand with these fearsome beings will hold back for now.

Early Afternoon of Waterday, 20th day of Planting, 597
15th day since leaving Loftwick

Qleceec (AC 1, HP 44/63) (Potion of Fire Resistance: 7)
Boff (AC 5, HP 60/61)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 53/65, Armor 14/26) (Resist Fire: 56, Enlarge 14.5' tall, 67)
Garrant (AC 3, HP 50/50, Armor 2/8) (Continual Light Coin)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 19/26)
Hex (AC 0, HP 11/27, Armor 7/8)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 45/53) (Improved Invisibility: 9)

Siouxsie cast Faerie Fire adding a Purple glow to the both the flame creature (Red A) and the molten metal being (Red B). And granting +2 to hit these creatures for all.

Nah Olos fires his crossbow using a +2 magical bolt at the fire being, there is definitely an effect, but a small one to the being. He is ready to move for a rear attack with his next action.

Hex attempts to cast Paralyzation on the fire being, but it has no effect. Is it immunity to this or just happened to avoid it this time.

Raffi moves down the hill and Frannie holds her position, more out of fear than anything else.

Garrant casts Magic Missile on the fire being injuring the creature.

Androgost finds the off the trail a little slippery, but his increased size is a boon. He lands a heavy blow with his heavy long sword.

Note that you do not get you normal strength bonus AND your enlarged strength bonus, I am removing a +1/+1. Also 3/2 mean you get one attack this round, save the second roll for next round.

Qleceec also lands an impressive blow on the molten being.

Boff thinks about his bow and in the end fires two shots, Androgost the giant runs right through the field of fire. Boff has his first shot bouncing off the molten man and catching fire and the second one misses and lucky does not result in friendly fire.

The fire creature attempts to wave his flaming arm at Hex. Hex takes 13 points of fire damage.

The molten man attempts to strikes Qleceec and land successful blow. The damage would normally be 14 points (some of this is considered earth damage and some fire). The potion effect is to reduce this by 4 points to 10.

This will take it to the next action for the party.

Androgst struggles - and revels - in his new size and strength. He is less effective at first but gets sizable feet beneath him and lands a solid blow!

Long Sword: [1d20+4]=2+4=6 SM:[1d8+3]=4+3=7 L: [1d12+3]=6+3=9

Long Sword: [1d20+4]=12+4=16 SM:[1d8+3]=7+3=10 L: [1d12+3]=1+3=4

Thx for updating bonuses last round. I didn’t add those to these rolls (pain to do on the phone!).

Boff decides perhaps now is a good time to drink his flying potion while backing away so he can avoid any melee combat while trying to drink the potion.

Androgost (AC -6, HP 47/65, Armor 12/26) (Resist Fire: 55, Enlarge 14.5' tall, 66)

Hex (AC 0, HP 8/27, Armor 6/8) (Alter Self: 19+)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 45/53) (Improved Invisibility: 8)

Qleceec and Androgost continue to engage the molten metal being (Red B). Between the two of them they land three large blows for 28+11+4 = 43 HP of damage. The molten man is obviously knocked around especially from Qleceec critical attack, but the being seems to not hesitate in its actions.

Boff move backs off the trail and manages to keep his footing as he drinks his flying potion

Garrant backs down the hill, keeps his footing even with a slide and fires another Magic Missile spell at the fire creature. This does 17 HP of damage.

Siouxsie casts Protection from Fire on herself.

Hex not liking this situation tries to move back 10' and casts Alter Self to turn into a Sylph in Plate Mail with wings sticking out the back.

Frannie for some reason has a heroic response to this and slams her Hammer right through the fire creature with no effect.

Raffi remains in place down the hill.

Nah Olos moved behind the fire creature and attempt to plant his sword in the back of the creature, but does not land a successful blow.

At this point a large, no giant, okay huge foot (at least 20 feet long if not more) made of earth and stone with four toes starts coming out of the ceiling. The entire foot up to the ankle is visible.

The Magma man starts to heat up and glow more red. Qleceec and Androgost your weapons and armor (and everything metal is getting hot), but there is no game effect at this time. It chooses to strike at Androgost, and manages to land a blow doing 16 points. The Resist Fire cuts this in half.

The Fire creature takes a swipe at Hex as he is retreating. Landing a minor blow for only 4 points.

Could you indicate it's rough location on the map please. I might decide to lightning bolt it if it's possible, but it's probably to far away.

At the center (top) of the island there is all green magic that is flowing up to the ceiling. At a height of about 150-200 feet is the exact location of the huge foot.

Siouxie will cast chill metal on the molten man.

Siouxie lowers her staff, pressing its tip into the ground.

A breath escapes her lips — slow and frigid in intent.

"Metal forged in greed and flame, I call the frost to stake its claim. Ice within shall creep, and bind the fire fast asleep."

Attacking Magma Man

From a pouch at her waist, Siouxie produces a polished sling bullet, no larger than a walnut.

“Iron may melt, but stone remains. Let this one remember the bite of the old world.”

She swings the staff around, building speed as the flexible leather socket hums and whips around the arc. With a sharp twist of her wrist, she releases—

(+2 Faeirie Fire for 18 total, forgot to add)

Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 45/53) (Improved Invisibility: 7)

Nah Olos getting no respect from the fire creature and is still unable to hit it (even with an additional +2 for a rear attack)

Raffi continues to hang back not wanting to mix it up with these powerful beings.

Hex only have area effect and fire powers remaining tries to gain some additional height to see what is going on at the top of the island.

Frannie attempts to strike again, but also cannot land a blow.

Siouxsie uses her staff sling and fires a bullet at the time Magma creature and while it is a solid hit, it does no damage.

Garrant fires a Magic Missile at the fire being, doing 12 HP damage.

Boff flies up behind the flaming creature and is also unable to land a blow for damage.

Qleceec lands a blow for 8 HP of damage on the magma creature.

Androgost lands a critical blow for which is enough to dispatch the Magma being.

The fire creature does not appear to care that his partner in battle has been lost. Seeing that he has more nearby targets behind him, he turns around and attempts to take a swipe at Boff. He burns the thief for 15 HP damage.

The massive foot continues its unstoppable descent, casting a shadow below. Then, without warning, two brilliant streaks of green light shoot up from the ground like lances of energy. They move with impossible speed, spiraling upward and twisting around the enormous foot and lower leg in a synchronized dance. The light coils tighter, forming glowing helixes that hum with barely contained power. The green flashes then continue toward the ceiling. For a moment, everything is still. And then a deafening roar erupts, a sound so deep and primal it vibrates through the bones of every member of the group. It’s unclear whether the roar comes from the creature with the huge foot itself or some distant source, but the fury is unmistakable. In the same instant, the green lights vanishes completely.

A heartbeat later, the massive foot—no longer connected to a leg—tumbles from above. The clean slice at the thigh still sizzles faintly as it falls, severed completely. The dismembered limb plummets toward the ground with terrifying speed, and when it lands, it hits with a thunderous slam. The impact sends a powerful shockwave through the island. A dense cloud of dust and pulverized stone erupts outward from the top of the island, engulfing that area in a blinding haze. For several long seconds, nothing is visible but swirling grit at the top of the island.
