"Could be Nolthar, although I doubt it. But we should be prepared for any tricks just in case."

Re: The Lost Cellar
Once everyone is do searching the torture chamber, Quintin starts down the hallway. Let us move on.
Re: The Lost Cellar
Waiting for posts from Edeldhur and grokkngrognard before I move things along.

Blaghrog
Peeks around the apparent torture chamber, then follows along after the others, if he finds nothing interesting.

Despite affecting a tough, worldly mien, Ern’s eyes widened at what she saw. Deft digits poking out of fingerless gloves retrieved a slender blade and gingerly lifted a blood-stained manacle with the tip before letting it go with a clatter.
”Gross…and creepy,” she muttered before filing in with the others, giving the room one last glance.

Re: The Lost Cellar
Having made a quick look of the torture chamber, you leave by the northern doorway, heading out into dark hall. Your torch light illuminates the path before you, the hall travelling to the end of your light. It shows a door on the right of the hall about 50 feet away. There is another hall across from the door and the hall you are in continues forward past both to the end of your light.
Ahead of you, midway between the torture chamber of the four-way intersection ahead, your torchlight catches barely visible stains on the floor show where something once bled. The stains are greyish-black, suggesting that whatever bled here had odd blood or ichor.

Quintin continues up to the blood spatter and stops before it. He looks down and then at the walls, looking for any more blood and then the ceiling. He points and asks What do you think about that?
Re: The Lost Cellar
Snorldrab
"No clue but it looks old. Stay alert everyone."
She moves over and listens at the nearest door.

"Not humanoid, I guess" answers Oggdrab to Quintin while looking at the stain, before getting closer to Snorldrab to back her up in case of danger.

Re: The Lost Cellar
Just to further inform the group. When Quinton approached the blood, as the first poster, the light source was still back at the entrance to this hallway. That meant the patch of blood was 30' from the torture chamber and 20' before the intersection. The hallway continues on another 10' by torchlight after the intersection. Now that both Oggdrab and Snorldrab have moved the light sources 30' up the hallway:
You all see the hallway continues north to open into a larger chamber. Snorldrab bends down to listen at the door when she is interrupted by the sound of something scraping across the floor. This sound is followed by the sound of making a single tapping noise on the floor. These two sounds then repeat; scrape and tap, scrape and tap. While Snorldrab's trained ears hear it first, you all soon hear the sound coming from the hallway leading west.
Light Source:
Torch held by Oggdrab lasting 45 minutes
Torch held by Snorldrab lasting 45 minutes

Re: The Lost Cellar
Quintin waves the others forward and moves to the corner and peeks around.

Snorldrab remains still and silent, preparing herself for whatever is coming.

Re: The Lost Cellar
Nolthar keeps his crossbow ready to fire and moves up to the corridor per Quintin's instructions.
Winter is coming...
Re: The Lost Cellar
Holding his sword in his right hand, Oggdrab steps a little further to the north to light up the rest of the room.

Re: The Lost Cellar
Ern hears the sound and swallows hard as she keeps her crossbow ready. She’s making sure to look back over her shoulder as well.
Re: The Lost Cellar
Blaghrog stands at the ready.
Re: The Lost Cellar
Turning, you see the passage opposite the door is 40 feet long before turning north. Approaching you from the passage are three (3) skeletons. It is the one in front of the trio who walk has alerted you of their approach. One of it's legs ends in a wooden peg leg while the other foot is dragged making the scrapping noise
Re: The Lost Cellar
Quintin turns back to the others Skeletons. The first one has a peg leg. He then giggles. You want me to smash 'em or turn back?. Until he gets an answer Quintin is ready to smash them when they come up close enough.
Re: The Lost Cellar
Snorldrab
"We should eliminate them."
She draws her daggers and moves up and puts he back to the wall just before the corner.

Oggdrab stands his ground, ready to engage.
