Robin comes downstairs looking incredibly alert and chipper. His good mood is natural and not as a result of any external interactions. He waves at everybody and grabs a double breakfast and half a dozen apples. Balancing all this food and two mugs he finds a seat at the table and starts to eat. After a bit Robin comes up for air and smiles again. "You should have been with me and Ferd. We got not only to go into the wizards tower but we met him. He was a nice guy. He gave Ferd a monkey and then showed us some of his magic. The wizard was so nice that he transported us right outside the front gate. I'm going to have to bring him a nice pie and fresh bread just to thank him."

Tinu walks down the stairs with her customary grace, clad in her breeches and a blouse. "Good day, everyone." Picking up an apple, she crunches into it while she listens to the conversation.

Gaurbal is up reasonably early for breakfast. He looks a little tired but gets stuck in to some food "You need to give your stomach something to do." he says to nobody in particular and he shovels food in.

When Draven recounts there fun with the tax collector he smiles "You should have seen his face. It was do red I thought he was going to have a seizure."

Vesper looks astonished "You trespassed the Wizard's tower and survived?" She then adds "Master Robin you would have been safer brawling in alleys with us! For shame Master Ferd - I thought you and young Robin were after a song, a couple of hands of dominos and a quiet night yet instead you go breaching the Wizard's tower!"

She smiles "Master Robin, have you ever seen two men tied back to back carrying a barrel to hide their modesty? It's quite the sight". She shrugs and pulls a face to the entire company "In fairness it was much more of a performative piece - the actual reveal was... really quite unpleasing..." she gives an arch smile "and terribly disappointing. Nevertheless, Guild Members all, watch out for the Red Man and his minions - they seek to rise and expand their area of "taxation". In doing so they see us both as marks and as competition - so have a care in the North District. I'll put a note on the board".

Tinu walks down the stairs with her customary grace, clad in her breeches and a blouse. "Good day, everyone." Picking up an apple, she crunches into it while she listens to the conversation.

Vesper applauds Tinu's arrival "The Champion Archer of the City is here!" She adds coyly "Luck that it wasn't a combined shooting and kissing competition - you'd have swept the board!"

Vesper laughs then interrupts Gaurbal's breakfast to gently raise his chin to smile "The Temple of Ord has well maintained your handsome features". She playfully ruffles his hair and awards him a chaste kiss.

She then slips into "troupe" business "Furthermore the Shadow Cats party fund is up some 50 gold from The Pig's Whistle and 68 from The Sea Serpent's Tooth. That last disappointment was my fault - that venue was worth so much more. I was distracted by the fight but I suppose we came out well enough and primed it for a return".

She dumps two hefty purses onto the breakfast table "I'll credit this at the bar here drawing on our four Shadow Cat faces or until we need it".

Vesper applauds Tinu's arrival "The Champion Archer of the City is here!" She adds coyly "Luck that it wasn't a combined shooting and kissing competition - you'd have swept the board!"

Tinu smiles. "I fear I've had more experience with shooting people than kissing them. Still, it's nice to be appreciated." She takes up a wooden bowl and ladles porridge from a kettle in the fireplace. She sprinkles in with raisins, sugar, and diced apples, and sits down to eat.

"Just remember everyone, we have the Ord job tomorrow morning, walk to the sewer, take a couple turns, and let them do the work and we walk back. Hopefully."

Vesper replies to Gaurbal "We should go on the offensive. Take a tour through the Northern District and see if we can't persuade some of the thugs who try to tax us that instead of working for the Red Man they might like to take a long sea voyage. Maybe Galreth's mind magick could do that for us?"

She then switches focus "But first we have the Temple of Ord to satisfy as our client and maybe more of the under city to explore. I wonder if the Watch can tell us if the rat problem has reduced after we killed so many?"

Vesper playfully hurls a grape at Draven "Scoundrel - last night you let Tinu and I wander off! We could easily have... won an archery competition... or something!" Perhaps due to hangover her tirade just doesn't seem to have the usual amount of invention or invective in it.

He displays his dexterity by catching the grape in his mouth, chewing it slowly. “Or something.”

Vesper seems about to retort but instead smiles at Draven before catching herself and schooling her features back into her usual mask of confidence.

Ferd chuckles, loading up his own plate shortly behind Robin. He denies nothing the younger hobbit says, adding tacit confirmation by doing so.
"The young Robin's earnest charms are indeed worthy of their own song," he smiles.

She then slips into "troupe" business "Furthermore the Shadow Cats party fund is up some 50 gold from The Pig's Whistle and 68 from The Sea Serpent's Tooth. Ferd cannot hide the surprise on his face at this revelation. He chooses not to say anything about the single gold piece he collected for his own critically-successful performance.

The Red Man sent his men to spoil the pub's ale and I became distracted". With a smile she then takes a bow but theatrically directs her "audience" toward her companions saying "The Shadow Cats are a talented company of players and so we earn well... and party hard. Master Ferd, the offer still stands for you to play with us for a full share. Most places can provide a "rhythm man" but a talented bard who can actually carry a tune and guide a crowd would only enhance both our performance... and the take".[/quote]

Elizabeth blushes. "Umm, I suppose I do still owe you for that...wild night or three on the town."

She turns her attention to Ferd. "I should probably pay off any debt I owe to Vesper and her troupe first."

And then she focuses back on the scroll.

Vesper purrs "Oh, I believe Master Ferd is trying to recruit all my new dancers...".

Elizabeth blushes. "Umm, I suppose I do still owe you for that...wild night or three on the town."

She turns her attention to Ferd. "I should probably pay off any debt I owe to Vesper and her troupe first."

Vesper visits the bar of the Trident and Shield then returns with a small beer.

She replies to Elizabeth "But you were our guest - of course!"... perhaps rather unconvincingly. Brightening she then declares "However, if you turn and wave at the bar staff that will make you an official Shadow Cat and able to draw against the hundred gold we have banked there for reasonable and proper expenses... and drink! Nineteen gold and six silver are yours by right but stay in the pot for our next party".

She absently adds "I'll order you some leather greaves - then you'll look like a proper Shadow Cat and bane of rats!"

She then passes over a small but weighty purse to Tinu "Nineteen gold and six silver is your share from our performance and 'twas well earned! You have natural grace and move like silk - I could teach you more of dancing if you'd like to learn. I also think you took a knife meant for me so look me up if you're short on luck. Here's your gold - spend it recklessly!" She leans in to peck Tinu on the cheek and adds in a low purr "If you end up dueling that Watchman again just make sure you've someone nearby who's as shamelessly negligent with fastenings as I am!"

Vesper is followed up the stairs by a young man dressed in the livery of a footman. The footman is holding a small bouquet of flowers.

When he sees everyone lounging around the common's room he clears his throat and says to Elizabeth, "Ur, I think these are for you. My Master said they were for the attractive young lady with the snake tattoos."

He gives them to Elizabeth, bows and leaves the room quickly.

Elizabeth's bouquet is a mix of daisies and tulips of various colors to complement the white of the daisies. There is a card.

It reads,

"To the very attractive young lady in the white shift. I hope to see more of you someday. Dearest Regards, Lord Percy"

She then passes over a small but weighty purse to Tinu "Nineteen gold and six silver is your share from our performance and 'twas well earned! You have natural grace and move like silk - I could teach you more of dancing if you'd like to learn. I also think you took a knife meant for me so look me up if you're short on luck. Here's your gold - spend it recklessly!" She leans in to peck Tinu on the cheek and adds in a low purr "If you end up dueling that Watchman again just make sure you've someone nearby who's as shamelessly negligent with fastenings as I am!"

Tinu turns her face to catch the kiss lightly on her lips. "Maybe I will live long enough to afford something magical to protect me. Linen is poor armor, indeed. and yes, I'd love to dance with you."
