Re: Port Llast - The Quarry
Only one available

Marilynn explains it is a Ring of the Ram...and now that you get a closer look, there is a silvery ram's head on the ring.
Updated list:
Grumble > Trell's axe (+2 axe of throwing/returning)
Ari > three potions: Potion of the Undead, Potion of Sweet Water, Potion of Repulsion
Barin - Martin's hammer - +2 Warhammer that sheds reddish light upon command; gives 15' radius
Raz - Morning Star +1
Moan - already equipped!
Thurm - Longsword +1
Mag - Sandspur - Dagger +2 > it's actually a Jambiya > a double-edged curved dagger. Special powers: detects evil 20' and can produce fresh drinking water (up to 3 waterskins) once a day.
So equipped, Martin offers a blessing upon your delve and two of the guards from Neverwinter - Stannik & Brade - step to the front, Brade holding a lantern, ready to lead the way. The other two guards - King & Deel - will guard your backs.
"Are we now ready?" Stannik says, his voice devoid of fear.
Does anyone take the ring?
Winter is coming...
Re: Port Llast - The Quarry
Ari thanks Nelda and gives her a warm hug. Not wanting to appear greedy, she hesitates when it comes to the ring, but if none else takes it, she will.
Re: Port Llast - The Quarry
Moan
Moan will pass on the ring. He already has magical missile and melee weapons.
"Yes, lets head in now."
He will be behind the person in front with his bow ready with a notched magical arrow.

I meant to say this yesterday > if you can give me a marching order...not that it will be needed all the time, but when there are corridors and such
Stannik and Brade will be in front; King and Deel in the back.

Re: Port Llast - The Quarry

Grumble is touched at the gesture of being given the axe. I’ll put this to good use he says before moving along.

Re: Port Llast - The Quarry
With Stannik and Brade in the lead, the group of companions open the rune-marked door and descend into the unexplored mine shaft. Moan (and Cu) and Barin follow the guards, then Raz and Ari, Mag, Grumble, and Thurm, with King and Deel bringing up the rear.
Rex > I'm assuming Cu is following Moan, correct?
The shaft descends some twenty feet, with walls carved out of the stone. Barin estimates, this mine shaft is over 200 years old and was chiseled by hand...a long and tedious process. At the bottom of stone stairs, the view opens into a very large cavern. To the left is a dark passageway, and straight ahead is another. The chamber is strewn with rock and debris, and at the edge of the Brade's lantern light, there looks to be a pile of old, rotten wood. A ledge carved out of the rock, approximately 10' high, is ahead and slightly to the right.
Except for the sounds of your nervous breathing, all is quiet...

Moan
Sorry, no Cu is staying behind in case they need to come in after us he can sniff me out.
Moan will check for tracks or any signs of recent use once we reach the intersection room. Assuming he doesn't find any is there anything that differentiates the other tunnels?

Ari follows beside Raz, her eyes ever watchful as they proceed further in.
