Re: Port Llast - The Quarry
Raz depends on what the DM/GM is willing to allow already prayed for the days spells, so unless i can swap them out nope. That and I only have level 1 &2 clerical spell access. "All I have left are two healing spells. That is what I prayed for last night to Gond."

Barin
Barin nods "I also have two healing spells, and one of entanglement..." he snorts "...that one's not much use here."

Ari speaks up, "In addition to my magical arrows, I have an incantation, that will cast an arrow that never misses. Alas I will not be able to cast it more than once, without sufficient rest."

Grumble has been quiet, sharpening his already sharp axe. I don't know what I can do to stop a ghost but it doesn't matter. I am going to try no matter what.

I allow druids to swap out spells as needed, but not clerics or mages.

Naturally, the companions are nervous about facing a ghost (and the gods know whatever else) without magical weapons, but then Grumble says, "I don't know what I can do to stop a ghost but it doesn't matter. I am going to try no matter what."
"'No matter what.' Now, that is what I like to hear!" Duncan says, giving the Dwarven cleric a nod. "Maybe we can help a bit more."
To which, the captain of the soldiers of Neverwinter removes a long-bladed dagger from his belt and holds it out. "This is 'Sandspur' and he has a sharp bite. I trust you to his care until you return from the tomb."
When the rest of the townsfolk hesitate, Duncan clears his throat and gives them a glare...and they respond as he expects. The young priest of Lathander, Martin, removes a heavy hammer from his belt, Marilyn removes a gawdy silver ring from her right hand, and Old Nelda takes three vials from the satchel on her side. Trell reaches behind his back and brings forth a well-used short axe and hands it to Grumble. Two soldiers of Neverwinter likewise step forward, one with a longsword, the other with a morning star. Finally, Brantas steps forward and offers his polished quarterstaff.
"Will these suffice?" Duncan asks.
Winter is coming...

Thurm
"This will not be forgotten" - Thurm nodded - "Thank you"
I can grab either the longsword or hammer - those are the ones I know how to use.

"Aye, with these we will have a chance at success."
"Barin has limited weapons, so he would have to use the hammer.

Re: Port Llast - The Quarry
Ari moves to Old Nelda and humbly takes the vials she offers. "May I ask their properties? So, that I can use them properly." Then looking to the others, "We are very grateful."

Re: Port Llast - The Quarry
The kindly elderly druid smiles and pats Ari on the arm. "Let's see if I can remember. This brown one will polymorph you into a zombie! Not an actual zombie, mind, you won't rot or anything hideous like that. But you may be able to fool other undead into thinking you're just one of the dead girls! Hee-heee! I love that one. It's especially fun on All Hallows Eve! Now...where was I? Oh yes, this clear one is Sweet Water and is an excellent tonic for poison. And then there's this silvery one, which gives you powerful breath! It smells a bit like garlic, but it will from bats, rats, and cats! Use them well, dear."
So...let's see who has what:

Grumble > Trell's axe (+2 axe of throwing/returning)
Ari > three potions: Potion of the Undead, Potion of Sweet Water, Potion of Repulsion
Barin - Martin's hammer - +2 Warhammer that sheds reddish light upon command; gives 15' radius
Raz - Morning Star +1
Moan - already equipped!
This leaves Thurm and Mag to choose from among the following:
Long-bladed dagger > Sandspur
Gawdy silver ring
Longsword
Quarterstaff
Of course, since all of these items were offered, you could take more than one, provided you can use it.

Winter is coming...
Re: Port Llast - The Quarry
Thurm
Told ya I didn't like Proficiencies from 2e - Thurm can only use the Hammer and Longsword, so from the list of remaining weapons there is really not much to 'choose' - has to be the longsword. Unless you have two of those warhammer +2
