The Lost Cellar
Re: The Lost Cellar
Quintin moves from the opening back to the bottom of the stair and gets ready to chop whatever has gotten behind them.
Re: The Lost Cellar
Snorldrab
Snorldrab turns towards the stairs and gets ready to act if need be.
Thanks for the hp.

Thanks for the HPybn1197 wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 3:44 pmRAW your HP is correct. Shadowdark does not start with max HP; but in the interest of PbP, I am going to run with max at 1st level. So everyone please change your character sheets to have max hp for this level only.
Looking down into the cave, Quintin sees there are rough-hewn stairs leading down into a passageway. The passage leads to the west about 15 feet before the walls shift blocking the light from the torches. At the doors, Snorldrab sees the southern door is not locked per se, there is a rusting iron bar on this side of the door keeping it locked. The northern door does not appear to be locked either however it's age and the mildew of this area has caused the wood of the door to swell making the door difficult to open.
Coming from the stairway behind you, you hear the sounds of footsteps coming down the stairs you have recently vacated....

Ern
Emerging into view, the small figure wearing a worn and patched hooded cloak stops and pulls back the hood. A grubby Halfling girl takes in the sight with a pair of guarded eyes. She is holding her crossbow casually yet ready to use in an instant.
”You fellas weren’t far ahead at all. The owner back yonder told me to hurry and join ya’ll. Ern’s me name,” she states.

"Well, I suppose it could have been much worse. Welcome Ern."

Oggdrab can't hold a nervous laugh. "Welcom, Ern. It seems this guy, Antero, is very lucky, having so many people ready to help him at once when he needs it! What would be your specialty?"

Nolthar
Glancing back behind him and seeing the others take up positions, only makes him stay where he is. What if something comes up from the shadows? Who will protect his companions?

Quintin lowers his sword on seeing the halfling. He turns to the group and says How about the stuck door? That one is keeping something behind it. He points to the door with the bar.

Blaghrog
Lowered his weapon when he noticed no threat was forthcoming - "Blaghrog" - he nodded, introducing himself.
