Re: UE Issue #6: Infernal Convergence
Sounds like in combining the OCC Chat and main thread that you want to move to the factory.
Is this something that you are wanting to do now (5:35 PM Local Time on a Sunday) or in the morning?
Are you getting there with Warlock's Teleport or some other method?
Where do you want to start from?

Warlock
Warlock lifts into the air and begins to examine the area around where the van used to be. He focused on the tell-tale elements of magical currents left behind by practitioners who channeled those energies on a constant basis. He was hoping to discover enough of a mystic spur left behind by the acolytes of DEMON to attempt to follow it. He felt it was a long shot, but one he would have chided himself about if he didn't at the very least try.
OOC: Seeing if there is anything that Warlock may be able to track.
Perception 13-: Mystic Tracking Attempt [_3d6]=(1+2+2)=5 with Detect Magic
Great roll, but... is there anything there to actually detect?
"Agreed. It would take a lot more time to attempt to follow it. But... let me see if there is anything I can do."

Pulling some things together
Building next to Willoughby Tower
5:36 PM Local Time – Sunday, December 6th, 1987
Wind Dragon: DEX 20, DEF 20, END 46/46, STUN 38/38
Eclipse: DEX 20, DEF 21/25, END 46/46, STUN 29/29
Azir: DEX 18, DEF 27, END 56/56, STUN 56/56
Warlock: DEX 18, DEF 22/24, END 40/40, STUN 40/40
Warlock tries to see if there was a mystical bread crumbs left by DEMON as they escaped in the van. The trail does not go very far with only passive magic in the area for a very limited time, but he is able to tell that the van next turned north after leaving to the east. Not much to go on, but better than nothing. (Can't waste a 5)
Does the group still want to head to the factory or something else? If you want to go to the factory

Re: UE Issue #6: Infernal Convergence
Warlock
Warlock felt delighted that he had caught a trail. He landed and let his spell attempt to follow it, but it was foiled by the weakening essence, eventually having to give up altogether because there wasn't enough left over to discover, far less track. At least they had a slight indication of the change in direction of the van, although considering traffic patterns, and perhaps a concealed destination, it may just be the need of the street layouts, or perhaps an attempt at misdirection. It didn't really matter, since there was nothing left to follow.
With frustration clearly etched into Warlock face, he checked on the mood with the rest of the team.
"Ok... so, the factory, right? I believe we have an idea of roughly where it is. I should be able to... "
Warlock's words trailed away as his arms moved in a large circle, drawing the boundaries of the emerging portal, along with a string of mystic words in an almost chant-like fashion. He was aiming to open the portal about 400 yards from the factory, above and at an angle away from it, so they could survey it and see where the best point of approach would be.
OOC: Aiming for the Factory location
Blind Teleport Attempt 15-: [_3d6]=(2+6+6)=14
Looks like Warlock got relatively close.

Warlock: DEX 18, DEF 22/24, END 40/40, STUN 40/40
With a shimmer of arcane energy and a subtle crack like ice fracturing underfoot, Warlock completes the teleportation spell, and the four heroes are instantly displaced to the edge of a crumbling industrial zone. They arrive in a tight cluster just outside the rusted, boarded-up shell of what was once a sprawling factory.
The time is precisely 5:36 PM, just over an hour since sunset on this bleak December evening. The cold hangs in the air like a weight, breath visible with every exhale, as the last hints of twilight fade to a leaden grey sky.
The factory looms ahead, a grim silhouette in the limited light. Once a monument to industry and motion, it now lies dormant and still. The entire building is boarded up, windows covered with aging planks and sheets of corrugated steel, most long since rusted or warped by time. The ivy coils along the brickwork like creeping veins, nature’s slow reclamation of human space. Scraggly weeds jut from cracks in the pavement, and shattered glass crunches faintly underfoot.
About twenty meters down the sidewalk, a man walking a German Shepherd halts mid-step. The dog's ears perk up, alert. The man with his hood drawn up and leash taut stares at the sudden appearance of the group. His eyes widen, but he says nothing. After a second's pause, he turns sharply on his heel, tugging the dog along, and walks briskly back in the direction he came, as though deciding that whatever he thought he saw wasn’t worth the trouble.
The street is otherwise deserted. No lights flicker inside the factory. No sounds come from within. The building stands in quiet defiance of time and memory—a forgotten relic now shadowed in silence.

Whispering, "Lets find a way in. I have point."
She starts to lead the way closer to the building and then around it clockwise.
Reminder, she sees in the dark just like it is daylight.

Warlock
The team emerges from the portal with little trouble. The area looks deserted, perhaps abandoned, and the man with the dog regarded them with suspicion. Warlock tried to soothe his misgivings with a formal greeting nod, but the man had turned around faster than Warlock could act. His gesture was not seen. Oh well... guess we'll let that one go...

"Lead away", Warlock whispered back.

Warlock, ever the polite one despite the strange circumstances, lifts a hand and offers a subtle nod to the man walking his dog. It’s a small gesture and an attempt at normalcy in an otherwise surreal arrival. But whether the man simply doesn’t see it in the weak light, or whether he wants nothing to do with four figures dressed like they stepped out of a comic book, is unclear. Either way, he doesn’t acknowledge them. Without a word, he tugs gently on the leash and turns around.
Azir doesn’t linger. Without waiting for conversation or consensus, she takes point, leading the group along the cracked sidewalk and around the far side of the old factory. Weeds crunch beneath their boots, and every footstep echoes against the walls. Faded signs hang askew, rusted bolts clinging by a thread.
They round the corner and emerge at the rear of the building, where old delivery bays line the crumbling concrete like forgotten mouths waiting to be fed. Azir slows her pace, scanning each one. She knows what she’s looking for and soon enough, she finds it.
One of the semi loading bays has a makeshift wooden barricade, but unlike the others, this one isn’t nailed or bolted into place. It's been propped up hastily, more for show than security. The boards are weather-warped and half-detached, with scrape marks along the floor and handprints in the dust and clear signs of recent use.
Actions?

Warlock
"The portal we use to travel remains unseen and unheard at its destination. If we step away from this building far enough, I can cast the spell without being noticed or heard by anyone inside, and we can use the portal to reconnoiter the area beyond it. Until such a time as we choose to cross it, the portal will remain unobserved."
Then something occurs to Warlock that he had not considered before.
"... unless... we are talking DEMON here. They may have wards or protective enchantments in place that may detect the presence of foreign magics."
Warlock then looks upwards and reviews the design of the building. If this was a factory, it was likely a very high ceiling structure, with skylights on the roof, or at least a measure of access.
"We may be able to get a better view from the rooftop, where skylights may be found. If not, we would have at least access to the service entrances, where whoever is inside may not expect any one to enter from."
Warlock took this opportunity to explain the abilities of his portal.

"Good idea, I can probably get to the roof unseen."
Is she strong enough to jump and carry someone to the roof at the same time?

Re: UE Issue #6: Infernal Convergence
Yes, 10 STR to lift another person, 18 STR to lift yourself and three others. So the carrying people is the easy part.
The building is 4 stories tall, which is 8 hexes.
With your Superleap you can jump 9 hexes vertically - so yes again.
