Gelli burns the cobwebs from the hallway with little issue other than the smoke which rises to the 8’ foot ceiling and begins to make the chamber hazy. It slowly begins to drift toward the opening where the stone door used to be. Nothing appears in the hallway after the webs are burned away but the party cannot see more than a few feet to the left or right hallway at the “T” intersection to the north.

Perhaps Jintu or Mudlark could scout ahead? In any case, we should proceed with caution. As he often does the scholar pauses and makes a pendant's noise deep in his throat. And perhaps we should set a watcher on the door in case we are pursued?

"Whoever is in the rear should be watching behind us as much as possible. Once the scouts are good we should follow along. We don't want to get split up."

I believe they are NPCs and we are controlling them - so that is decided. Mudlark will go scouting

Mudlark slinks down the short hall to the T intersection. Looking to the right, she sees that hall goes 30' and then opens into a larger room that goes beyond the light source. Looking left, she sees another 30' hall way ending into a larger room (a mirror image).

Niphon will stay vigilant, but begins to hum slightly until Javess hushes him.

Can we have Mudlark search for traps or markings, then absent anything else move to the left room and look inside?

Mudlark examines the walls and ceiling of the T intersection and finds no evidence of traps. She continues to her left and finds that the passageway enteres into a rectangle room which is 10" east to west and 30' north to south she is entering into the room in the middle of the east wall.

The room has been neglected for a long time and contains cobwebs of the normal sort from decades of webs being spun over and over again. There is a heavy layer of dust upon the floor with no disturbance.

Athena scans the room carefully before entering, clearing webs and keeping an eye on the ceiling as she checks the room out.

Niphon

Niphon moves carefully up to the doorway and watches Athena's back. Jintu, keep your eye on that other room. I'd hate to have something come up behind us.

Yes it is a narrow room which appears to have been a barracks as there are pieces of splintered furniture, moldy mattress materials, and broken locker boxes strewn on the floor along with the dust and cobwebs.

Athena will check for anything left behind and then for secret doors by tapping on the walls.

Niphon will stay alert. And watch the others. He'll idly check the walls where he is for secret doors, but without leaving the relative safety of the middle of the party.

After an examination of the room and its walls, the party finds no secret doors or any remarkable items amongst the debris. Jintu sees no movement from either the entry room nor the mirrored room to the right (east).

So, no exits from the West room other than the way we came?
