Back To Underborea?
Still No Idea On Time Or Day
Unsure what to expect, the fighters in the group charge through the dissipating smoke into the room beyond. As they move in, the floor feels strange under their feet, and when they look down, it appears that several more normal sized snakes have been put to sleep along the floor that are now being crushed under heavy boots.
Breaching the dying smoke, the 4 Snakemen are quickly found waiting in the room beyond, where Sik and Akhilleus charge to engage with Drest and Xenos hot on their heels. Though none of these creatures are currently casting spells, the one furthest away appears trepidatious, possibly about to bolt towards the hall at the back of this room.
Actions? Taibhse (Sh3) FA:0(20) AC5 1/15
Xenos (DS3) FA:3 AC5 17/17 CT FOB:49

Kainaxarthos
Kain exits the smoke and almost slips on the ground snakes. "Forgive me, Yig." He starts bashing any snakes that remain alive after the stampede.

Magda
Following Kain's lead, she uses her staff to eradicate the snakes on the floor, but without apology. She keeps an eye on the melee taking place ahead.

Hopefully T_W comes back to us eventually.
Under The Zakath Desert
Back To Underborea?

While the fighters charge into the action, Magda and Kian remain in the hallway crushing the sleeping snakes on the floor there.
Sik and Akhilleus take on the front ranks of the Snakemen, the Barbarian nearly killing his adversary with one blow. He is hit by the things curved sword which adds another minor wound to his quickly failing health. 3 dam Akhilleus also injures the foe on him, just able to dodge the blows from the pair of oncoming monsters.
Xenos and Drest charge into the room, past the initial melee, to catch up to the fleeing monster where they attempt to take it down before it can get away. With his reptile slaying sword, Drest mortally wounds the escapee, while Xenos finishes it off with a devastating blow of his own. They see the doorway and hall beyond where these creatures likely arrived from, indicating there must be another way to get back into the complex from the open area below.

Drest
Drest turns and goes after the one on Sik, trying to sneak up on it and back attack.
Short Sword +2/+4 vs. Reptilian Charge Attack [1d20+4]=16+4=20 to hit [1d6+5]=6+5=11 damage
If it counts as a back attack he gets another +4 to hit and double damage.

Sik backpedals towards the wall, fighting conservatively to defend himself from a potentially fatal blow.

With the snakes disposed of, Kain reaches back to pull Cyril and Taibhse through the doorway. "No time for lagging behind!"

Her useful magick exhausted, Magda holds her lantern and staff and watches the battle anxiously.

Back To Underborea?
Still No Idea On Time Or Day
In a flurry of movement and sword blows, the skirmish with these Snakemen hits a full crescendo. Sik falls back towards the wall, allowing Drest to rush over to put his sword into the monster attacking him, which foils its counter attack on the Barbarian.
Xenos and Akhilleus are also partially successful with their attacks, though none of the enemy falls. They are both hit in return for their efforts, though the wound caused upon Xenos tis but a scratch. 6/2 Dam

Re: Return To The Ruins (Warlords Palace)
I'm confused - shouldn't Drest's attack have killed the Snakeman on Sik? Looks like he hit AC0 for 11 damage and Sik's previous hit last round was said to almost kill it with 9 damage.

Cyril brandishes his staff, trying to keep the snakemen away. He also occasionally glances over his shoulder to make sure there is no pursuit.
