Bugs

"Heya Pim." Bugs cheerfully greets the Halfling when he breaks the surface. "Oh. That's what's up, huh? Let's do this."

Bugs draws his daggers and lets them fly.

Thrown Dagger (20): [1d20+3]=10+3=13; Damage: S/M [1d4]=2 L [1d3]=1
Thrown Dagger (20): [1d20+3]=5+3=8; Damage: S/M [1d4]=3 L [1d3]=1

At the priest, just to clarify.

I hope at least some of the people reading along can understand why I keep asking if all the players are actually reading these updates.

One Short Of A Baker's Dozen
Just When You Thought.....
Early Afternoon, Warm Clear

Outside

Meinhardt commands his Unseen Servant to lift off the ground towards him, floating just up and out of the diving reach of the clearly angry red robed Priest who stops before he enters the dissipating burning patch, since he is still dealing with a pair of interlopers on the ground. Seeing him smirking at Stobarts boisterous yet failed attempt to Turn his oncoming monsters, Pimlan suddenly decides to be helpful by smacking the Priest in the shin with his sword, hearing only the dull clank of metal on metal that does nothing to foil the obviously conceited man. He looks down at Pimlan with fire burning in his eyes, reaching out to touch the top of the Halflings head while reciting ominus guttural phrases. I'll need a successful Save vs. Spells from Pim before he can act again. When the cheery gnome pops out of the filthy chimney next, he jokes around with Pimlan before launching a pair of daggers. One flys off harmlessly, but the other provides another valuable lesson about the dangers of firing missiles into melee when it hits Pimlan in his back instead of doing anything to damage the actual target. 2 dam (I should keep track of how many times this happens.)

Gyb waits for the first few Skeletons to step in front of the cave entrance where he drops his rock upon one of them. It rolls over the rocky ledge and crushes one unlucky monster, causing the one directly next to it to look up and point at the Monk. After a short pause, some of the Skeletons in the long line begin making the climb up to the top of the ravine where this fiasco all began.

Inside

Mutated Loyn throws the bodies of the Zombies in a pile at the entrance while Ithrandir seems content to continue chopping away at them. Magdal fires into the mass of the oncoming Skeletons, sticking a pair of arrows into the leader that is not quite enough damage to bring it down. (they only take 1/2 dam from piercing weapons) Loyn happily lets a few more of them enter the room before he continues his rampage, allowing the others a chance to have some fun as well.

When the Skeleton kills the final Gnoll fighter, Tammuz rushes the creature, bashing it into the floor where it also stops moving. This allows Daliedhur room to charge the masked mage, slashing him violently with his sword as Keya fires into the melee, hitting the target with his arrows as well, causing him to reel backwards instead of attempting a counter attack. Once he rights himself within the center of his noxious cloud again, he arrogantly taunts those trying to kill him by motioning them forward into his green mist as he calls forth another magical spell. (remember to include a Save vs. poison if you intend to enter the cloud again)

Daliedhur

The elf snarled when his blade connected with their foe - it felt good to finally be able to do something which might make a difference.

As the man retreated, Daliedhur invoked his own magic, not wanting to go into the swirl of toxic fumes.

Bugs

I think Bugs was ok with that risk. Sorry Greywolf

"Eeep! Sorry!" Bugs was overconfident in his dagger tossing after the trickshot in the cave. He switches to sword and engages the staffless priest along with Stobart and Pim.

"Hey! Why does every twiceling think they can just touch our heads?!"

Long Sword(20): [1d20]=3 Damage: SM [1d8]=3 L [1d12]=7 Less talking, more focus, Bugs.

One Short Of A Baker's Dozen
Changing Of The Tides?
Early Afternoon, Warm Clear

Outside

In a sudden turn of events, almost everyone decides to get on board with the concept of combining their efforts against this dangerous adversary. Seeing the skeletons climbing up for them, Gyb takes off towards Meinhardt, who backs away a little more as he reaches out to take the staff from his invisible Servant. As soon as he touches the oddly carved wooden weapon, he freezes in place for a moment while Gyb looks on, clearly alarmed. Can I get a Save vs. Death from Meinhardt please? :?

With Renna and Crobeus still lying prone on the ground at the base of the cliff ledge, the others accost the red robed Priest simultaneously for the first time. And for the first time, the man starts to look concerned. Stobart smacks him in the face with his staff, which staggers him for a second, before Bugs tries again to penetrate the thick metal armor under his robes to no avail. Glad to have resisted the obvious spell cast upon him, Pimlan steps in with a quick sword thrust to the man's hip, slipping his blade through armor and flesh before pulling it out bloodied.

Still portraying his demeanor of strength, the man looks over his trio of opponents carefully, searching for the weakest link or some other opening he might exploit. Quickly deciding that it would be easiest to eliminate a wounded enemy, he strikes at Pimlan and hits him hard in the head with his mace, knocking the Halfling to the ground completely unconscious 6 dam, while increasing the growing tally of downed party members.

Inside

At the cave entrance, Magda, Ithrandir, and the 2 gnolls continue to punish the mass of Skeletons as they enter. They knock down 2 more, as Loyn rips apart 2 others with his bear paws, spitting out bone fragments as he bites into another. While they let more and more into the cave, to give everyone a target, one Gnoll is overtaken, knocked to the cave floor and pummelled by the oncoming horde. It seems that for every one they drop, another makes its way through the opening. And there is no end to the mass they can see outside the entrance. Somehow, nobody else in this group takes an injury besides the fallen Gnoll.

Deeper inside the complex, the spear point continues to press the attack. Though the masked figure in the green mist seems prepared to cast again, once he is hit multiple times again, his tune seems to change. Taking damage from both spell and arrow, the figure falls back deeper, moving beyond the green mist to the empty hallway behind it. This cowardly act infuriates Tammuz, who charges back into the cloud of horrible smelling vapors, where he immediately doubles over and starts to heave again.

Beyond the green haze and the loud din of battle, a single wooden door can be heard closing in the distance.

Damn it, I was REALLY hoping that spellcaster would go down after the beating he has taken... :/
Good thing I did not try to use Sleep on him.
Question - would Protection from Evil help me with +2 on the saving throw if I wanted to get in the cloud again, either to pull out Tammuz or to press after the caster? Or both.
