Stat Rolls: 4d6 drop the lowest and arrange as desired.

Hit Points: For 1st level Max HP + Con bonus roll for HP. Exception: Rangers must roll their second d8 roll.

Lore of the Plains: Classes

Mystic

The primeval environment of Atlantica, free from human influence for millennia, has drawn those who commune with nature from all over the world. The untamed regions allow mystics to draw energy directly from nature itself and manipulate it into useful means.

The Mystic is generated as a Cleric, having access to select Druid and Cleric spells that fit within a Weird Western world.



Gunslinger

A Gunslinger goes by many other names; Maverick, Outlaw, Lawkin (Law Enforcer), etc. They are the primary users of firearms in LOTP and have the best skills with them.

A Gunslinger is generated as a Fighter.



Ranger

Rugged individuals, the Ranger can scavenge a living from the wild.

A Ranger is generated as a Ranger.



Swindler

Swindlers come in all forms, from charismatic manipulators to devious rouges that prey upon settlements both large and small. Skilled in the arts of thievery and stealth.

A Swindler is generated as a Thief, with a preference to pistol firearms. If they carry a rifle, it will impose a penalty on their Swindler skills.



Alchemist

Alchemists gleam information from arcane writings and combine them with modern science. They wield “magic spells” that are no more than creative use of science manifested into an actionable form.

Alchemists are generated as a Magic User having access to select Illusionist and Magic User spells suitable for a Weird Western setting. They are restricted to pistol firearms.
