Donovan nods to the Lieutenant. "I think we will keep the controversial goods aboard the ship this time around. I have no desire to go looking for local troubles." He nods to Karsci as they walked through. "Standby, we will be having freight to move a little later in the day. They should about empty the hold."

He will arrange to hire a local broker. Donovan will sell his cargo if the price is good but expects to make more money at the next two ports. He will also be looking for low passengers as well as the consignment freight.

Extolay has the medical know how and technology to save this one." he shakes his head, "This other one, though, we can try here, but even if we can save the life, I'm not sure the life we save will be worth saving...too much damage to the brain." he looks up, "By the looks of the data here, both of these folks must have been in low for years! I surprised you got them stable and were able to keep them stable."

Doug is glad to accept your help and puts you to work making notes of what the diagnostics he set up report back, so he can analyze them later while he does work on things now. He'll also have you checking wiring runs through out the ship looking for any potential problems as, "That hasn't been done since we started. Bob and I were too busy with other things, but it ought to be done. Just to make sure nothing is lurking for the wrong time to bite us."

Both those tasks are within your wheelhouse and will take you about 30 hours of work to complete over the week.

Zaki contacts Doctor Brock and arranges for the transfer and payment. She asks about swapping low berths for empty ones, and about setting up the accounts for the patients. If one doesn't make it, then the entire amount would go to the surviving patient.
