"Welcome to Extolay!" calls the shorter of the two men who is wearing the uniform of Port Authority and the badges of a Lt on his epaulets, "I'm Lt Graufilne and this is Doc Brock he waves the hand not holding the guard rail of the gangway toward the older man following him. The one called Doc Brock nods and says, "Medical Officer, here. Just need to see your certification and check on any passengers disembarking here."

As a reminder, you have only 3 passengers, all in Low Berths and all paid up all the way to Regina, so no one is disembarking...unless you turn over the injured here and that's a bit different. The Medical Officer might be the one to release them to...

If you got your cargo stamped with the Imperial seal there and it matches your Manifest, I don't have to look at it, but if it doesn't I'll need to do an inspection. Sorry, but there's been some kerfuffle with the locals about prohibited stuff coming in lately."

OOC: All the Freight for here and the Crystals and Iridium do have Imperial seals on their shipping containers to match your Manifest and those seals haven't been touched, so no problem there. However, the Dust Spice and Fast Drug do not have Imperial seals, they weren't purchased at an Imperial Port and nobody faked one up, so the Lt. would have to inspect them before clearing them for sale here. The Fast Drug is a little problematic depending on local laws, but there are a *lot* of Vargr on Extolay, close to 60 million and Fteahrao (Dust Spice) is a mild hallucinogen for them and will be tightly regulated or even a 'controlled substance' here on Extolay. Fteahrao might be big profit maker here, but getting it past Customs if it's a 'controlled substance' could be a problem and then finding just the right buyer, of course.

I believe we had one that was dead and unrecoverable. I don’t think we brought him aboard. The other almost was resuscitated and we kept that one.

If you could inspect and then bond them for through shipment it would be appreciated. We have no desire whatsoever to sell these items locally. We are honest traders."

Back before you knew you'd be running from the authorities...or whoever it is you're running from....you planned to pass them off to a high tech hospital. I know you brought the one that was alive aboard, a man, beyond your Autodoc's abilities (you'd do more harm trying with him than just keeping him on ice), but maybe savable with Tech A+ facilities. The other was a woman who was (to quote Miracle Max) mostly dead...you couldn't have even gotten a "blave" out of her. I think you brought her aboard to pass her along for the care of a facility much more qualified to pronounce her gone, but I could be misremembering.

You all step aboard and while Brock takes 'Robin LeBleau' aside to look at medical records, 'Captain Stone leads Lt. Graufilne back through the ship to the cargo hole. On the way you pass Karcsi seated at the table in the commons drinking a cup of coffee.

Graufilne is saying, "Neither Fast or Dust Spice is illegal, per se, as far as the Imperium is concerned."

"As I'm sure you know, Fast Drug is often used as a Low Berth alternative and has it's military uses but having it isn't a problem. Fteahrao, or Dust Spice, isn't illegal on any Imperial Port, but yes, it is pretty tightly controlled...even banned...on many systems. Aslan claim it has medical uses for them and prize it highly. Humans, some anyway, prize it also for, um, let's say recreational reasons, as do Vargr but for them it's much more dangerous."

"Yes, it is a controlled substance here on Extolay sellable only to the government for their own purposes...whatever they are...unless you have a really good reason to sell it here I'd keep it for Jenghe or Regina."

Meanwhile Brock looks over 'Robin's' paperwork in Medbay and nods, "All seems fine here. Let's see you have your crew aboard and four in Low passing through to Regina and that's all?"

You all step aboard and while Brock takes 'Robin LeBleau' aside to look at medical records, 'Captain Stone leads Lt. Graufilne back through the ship to the cargo hole. On the way you pass Karcsi seated at the table in the commons drinking a cup of coffee.

"Same here." replies the Lt., "He doesn't seem phased by your accent. He and Donovan pass through to the cargo hold and the Admin is done quickly and painlessly.

Back in sickbay, is 'Robin' going to broach the subject of the patients in low berth to the Doctor? He doesn't seem to notice that you have another low berth in operation so you don't have to bring it up unless you want to do so.

He and the doctor leave the ship having given you a clean bill of health and you see that the two techs that were outside have you hooked up to shore power and utilities as well.

Donovan sees messages that the three freight owners are going to be arriving over the next couple of hours to pick up their goods, so one or two of you will want to deal with that and it will take all afternoon.

Someone needs to look for a buyer for any of your spec cargo you wish to sell here...or hire a broker that has the local knowledge to find buyers. That could wait until tomorrow, but the sooner started the sooner you can move on.

OOC: One roll for Spec cargo if you are spending time sightseeing/adventuring during the week (probably not a good idea on Extolay given the political situation). Two rolls for Spec cargo if you are doing normal things during the week and do it yourself. Three rolls for Spec Cargo if a broker is hired and you're doing normal things during the week.

Doug wants to run diagnostics and do some basic maintenance on ship systems and could use a hand with that.

Back in sickbay, is 'Robin' going to broach the subject of the patients in low berth to the Doctor? He doesn't seem to notice that you have another low berth in operation so you don't have to bring it up unless you want to do so.

Zaki points to the two shipwreck survivors. "We found these two in a shipwreck outside Imperial space. They appear to be Imperial citizens, and this is the first port we've visited that has the technology to possibly resuscitate them. Would you be able to care for them?"
