OOC: It appears you have put up 20 gp to CAROUSE which is less than the 30 gp from the book, but you also got some "on the house" drinks during/after the performance, so I'll say you get the 30 gp +0 level bonus on your rolls.
Now about LUCK and Carousing Outcome rolls:
- Vesper gets 1 LUCK as part of her performance;
- Because you are using 20 gp rather than the 30 I'm only going to allow 1d8+1d3 for this Carousing Outcome on the In-Book Table, I will often generate Alternate Carousing Outcome Tables, but this time we'll use the one from the book;
- You can use a LUCK on the Carousing Outcome roll (If I roll for you, I'll not use it unless you tell me you want me to re-roll but then you'll have to accept the re-rolled outcome) but only one of the d8 or d3, and you have to call it;
- Draven said I should roll for him, so I will, but I'll list your names and you can either post a roll or tell me to do it.
- After the rolls are in I'll edit THIS post with the results and you can tell me if you are using a LUCK to re-roll and which of the 2 dice (or if I should for you).
- There will very likely be some role playing connected with the Outcomes for each of you as I will add complications to pretty much all of the outcomes!
Is that all clear, and fair?
- Draven: [1d8]=4+[1d3]=3
You are awaken the next morning when a woman rises from the bed you are in. She puts on the dress Vesper was wearing the night before, but she isn't Vesper...you can't remember her name or how you came to be here! Looking down, you realize you are naked and don't see your clothing anywhere in the room either. All you remember is you led the entire tavern in a wildly insulting song about the Earl of Loclair, a powerful but disliked noble from your homeland and a woman who smelled like roses gave you a long deep kiss...you still smell the roses. Gain 4 XP.
- Vesper: 8
You survived a blindfolded knife-throwing demonstration unscathed Gain 4 XP and a luck
token - Galreth: [1d8]=7+[1d3]=2
By trickery, you beat a rival crawler in a test of skill Gain 5 XP and an NPC enemy.
Saman, the Warrior, challenged any of you to an arm wrestling contest. Draven was already off with some women and Vesper disappeared after she won the knife throwing contest and both were too drunk to do anything anyway, so Galreth stepped up...and hypnotized Saman then told him he was weak as water! Galreth didn't win anything as the gambler taking bets said he was cheating by using a spell! Galreith was just happy that he and Gaurbal were able to get out of The Sea Cow and back to The Shield and Trident in one piece after the gambler taking bets, his half dozen thugs, and Saman started getting nasty. Saman was throwing threats as Galreith and Gaurbal retreated, Galreth should consider him an enemy now! On the plus side, Galreith knows his Hypnotize spell works now, and he has a good idea of who he should avoid over in the North District. - Gaurbal: 6
The Thieves' Guild bilked you for 5% of your total wealth Gain 4 XP.
You knew the party shouldn't have wandered up into the North District to party at The Sea Cow, but they did anyhow. Gaurbal, thinking he should support Galreth bet against Saman in the arm wrestling contest, but the gambler taking the bets wouldn't pay off, saying he and Galreith cheated and lost the 1 Silver he put up, and backed it up with a half-dozen armed thugs. He did learn to be more careful in the North District! Maybe not go already drunk, and maybe not with just Galreith around to watch your back.
