I'm not aware that we ever had a Tim Horton's in Vermont unless they were way up north closer to the Canadian border.

We do have Al’s French Frys I know that for sure. Denny's as well. Five Guys, & yes we have one Friendlies left in Vermont from what i know of.

Yeah I searched and the two closest one is in Quebec the other in upstate NY. But I have bought their ground coffee locally in grocery stores.

I live much further down the East Coast... we had a Friendly's once, but that particular store earned a bad rep over the years until it finally closed. My relatives in southern Maine had a Tim Hortons open and then close a few years later. I'd almost say a Hortons is worth the trip by itself.

The Tim Horton's I have been to in Quebec remind me of Dunkin Donuts. When I was young Dunkin Donuts had a great soup, coffee/hot chocolate, and doughnut meal deal. Used to get it anytime we stopped there.

All I've had is the Tim Horton's coffee & I can say in my opinion it is better than what Dunkin' sells for coffee.

I guess it depends on your taste in coffee. I myself am into Death Wish coffee which is based out of Round Lake, NY at least the manufacturing part of it is. Or Tim Horton's is another that I buy regularly.

Personally I don't care for what most local shops carry as their coffee to grab on the go.

Give me the crunchy coffee at the bottom of the pot. Always yum. ;)
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

I very rarely drink coffee, much more of a hot chocolate guy. No real preference for one over the other, more whatever is available at the time as far as DD vs TH.

As we move into the new year, is this seeming like a thing or did I fail my Int roll and it was an illusion?

I apologize for admittedly dropping the proverbial ball on this idea.

We had a decent start on the planning, but then hit a few snags along the way that thwarted interest.

I was trying to come up with better alternatives, and I am still sorting out a few ideas for doing something much smaller than a normal convention style event.

So if we do try hosting something in the future, it would likely be a private thing.
