Roscoe will incline his head. "Your Highness, I will accompany my family. Then, in the case something happens, we will see what we can do to assist in freeing you."
He looks over at the ship, and all the remaining drone vehicles waver and vanish, likely taking to the skies. The vehicles do the same, leaving only Skeet's bright red G/Speeder, the dull looking one that is military make, and the smallest and least offensive of the popup drones, though they move into the fabricator to begin deconstruction. Trouble might still find them, but there won't be weapons to seize.
Then the ship seals up and Roscoe turns to Jaelah. "I'm ready."

A ~100t grav submersible appears as a shadow in the water then surfaces, streaming water to rise from the sea to level with the Bartizan's flight deck. Cargo loading hatches retract to reveal an open interior hull space in which three squads of armoured troops are gathered. Each squad has an exo-suited trooper bearing a man portable plasma gun while a tripod mounted energy weapon is set up with its heavy power packs on the deck. Three officers of the Naval Provost's Office seem to be in command.
Meanwhile a G Carrier lands from above bearing two sections (total 20 men) of Collace PDF Troopers in cloth CES with plate carriers armed with ACRs. A Collace PDF officer directs his Sergeant to deploy his men from the vehicle but then makes his own way over to speak to the company remaining on the section of Flight Deck marked off for the 4DC/SEMC business meeting and range.
The naval infantry amble forward to crowd behind the three Provosts as they approach whoever makes themselves known with William* and Skeet. As he approaches the Collace PDF officer waves to a couple of SEMC officers which seems to do little for the humourless Provosts. They appear to have gone for the impersonal approach retaining their combo cam/flash balclavas under their transparent helmet visors. The apparent senior Provost Maclean "Demands where is the Duchess of Deneb? She is responsible here!" He scans the company (unsurprisingly failing to spot the now armoured Ciencia) and locks his heated gaze on Aster "You, Duchess, are under arrest - it's the Deeps for you suka!" He moves in to grab her by the hair.
His deputy begins to jostle through the company displaying equal diplomatic skill "Where is the scientist Metz? This was his work!" At this point Metz makes a "Glurk" noise then fights momentarily for breath as Garvin rams stiff fingers under his diaphragm (that's ribcage and not something Metz might have fitted to avoid getting himself in the family way. Hey, it's Metz!
). Garvin puts his hand up "That'll be me then - I did all that. Oh, an' I've been brushin' up on the local lingo an' you lot are all a bunch of Canutes!" The Provost moves in to detain Garvin.
The third Provost tells William "You are under arrest until you pay the fine!" and moves to apply handcuffs to him.
Meanwhile Polly, standing alone in the party with William, steps in to exclaim "Stop - you're making a mistake!"
Warlord Ikazuchi who has arrived flanked by his bannermen Hiei, Kirishima and Haruna in impatient anticipation of a signing of mercenary contracts has been distracted by the display of Aslan adapted lasers, fusion guns and grenade launchers offered by 4DC. Target drones have died and the local seabird population has diminished. The local skyboarders have left. However, on apparent instinct the Warlord puts his weapon up and makes his way towards the apparent confrontation with the Navy. Kongō falls in behind his Lord as the Aslan males swiftly cover distance with economic strides instinctively falling both into step and wedge formation.

She has her full Imperial on display to amaze and offend, though she never actually claims to be her liege. She's more than happy to take the fall for her.
She will play the part of the helpless noblewoman and allow it while letting out a cry of female distress that would do any actress proud.

One of the particle lance batteries on the ship has been slowly turning to cover the sub while another locked onto the G/Carrier. They have moved slowly enough not to garner attention. No targeting sensors, but who would need them at this range?

Aster confirms this theory on a "given" Int (Spying) Roll.
If you target the G Carrier [Collace PDF/Army - not at war with them yet!

However, the grav sub is on the same level as you (hovering at deck height) and so you can target that - by boresighting a particle accelerator!
Since that's something of a given you can actually choose which bit of it you want to target).

Aster will pass this back even as she is putting on her show.
Well, it would be rude to shoot amongst friends, so Roscoe will reserve his targeting for the sub, which is at point-point-point-point-point blank range.

As for called shots, that seems somewhat pointless, so he will aim center mass. 8D = 8DD for vehicles, so 80 d6 is an average of 280 damage before the radiation. It's not that well armored.

Or, if it is dead ahead, there's always the Annihilator. Let's see, 2DD in space means 2DDD for vehicles. What's that? An average roll of 200 d6 is 700 points of damage. Add in the 1DDD damage (350 points average) from detonating matter/antimatter reactions within 10 meters per point of primary damage (average 7 kilometers) and the radiation damage... Yeah, that's a bit much. We'll stick with the particle lances.

To reiterate how Roscoe is armed, he has the storage in his wedding ring with a stunner and a similar ring on his other hand with a weapon of last resort: a TL20 matter disintegration pistol. Less collateral damage than a fusion pistol but still just as much explaining to do!

Jaelah / Roscoe
As she hustles her family aboard Jaelah settles them into safety and recalls the meal she had with them last night.
The sea kelp was locally sourced from the arcology wall beds as was every fish or crustacean dish on the menu. That fresh taste was key. The freshly harvested produce and catches going from the ocean and literally straight up the arcology walls either by hand rope for locals or on the conveyors bound for midspire both reminded her of her own roots here in the midspire but also of Collace's citizens' link to the world ocean and its bounty.
Even on the Bartizan deck the cries of harvesters and fishermen and the bustle of traders from the arcology walls sometimes carried across to remind her of her home. Indeed well vetted hawkers of cockles, whelks and prawns are allowed on the base together with "crabmen" (but more often their young sons and daughters) selling their flatbread "sandwiches" and cracked whole claws both to the garrison and space port workers.
She then becomes aware of Roscoe powering up vastly destructive radiation weapons for point blank use...
In about 10,000 years the kelp beds would be safe again (for those who could choose to not consume from them until then). Screamsheet headlines like "Ecological Atrocity" and "SuSAG who?" cross her mind...
It's about this time that Roscoe's "other self" prompts him to "Have a word with himself" re: collateral (fatal) radiation damage to anyone exposed on the flight deck and environmental issues regarding initially irradiating and then almost immediately exploding a 100 ton hull (and its power plant) and dropping same into the arcology's oceanic "breadbasket". This oddly turns his mind to how much of the arcology must "lie below"...
(OOC: Rather like a man pondering a pitch onto the green with a 3 wood Roscoe might feel he's rather "overclubbed" here...

And the oddly rambling response might indicate the GM losing his marbles... or waiting for an exchange of PMs... or an obscure clue. You know one of those is a safer bet...

Still gripping her hair he pulls Aster upright and eyes her appreciatively. Other troopers move forwards to take her into their custody presumably to hustle her towards the sub which is what they're doing with the now handcuffed Gravin.
Frank is aware that the Rangers are ready and performing an outer security cordon about the "Merc Business gathering" on the small section of Flight Deck in use as a range. The duty security team is on way (the cavalry troop) and the reserve infantry (Kit and Prerna's Teams) are kitting up.
