Hey all. Appreciate the invite and I'm really looking forward to the game.

My plan is to run a dwarven speciality priest.

Now, that I've figured out how to add folks to the correct group let's sound off! Character generation has begun for the new players and the old players, I assume, are dusting off the cobwebs on their characters. Currently, we have the following:

Raz - Gnome male cleric (GreywolfVT)
Mag - Elf male fighter/magic-user (gurusql)
Moan - Human male ranger (Rex)

In the works:
Dwarf specialty priest (shaidar)
Dwarf fighter (Edeldhur)
New character (Darithe)
New character (dmw71)

Don't stress out on getting everything done right away. I'm looking at a post-Thanksgiving start; which gives us a couple of weeks to get everything finalized before kick off.

I think I will be playing a new character. I ended up playing Vesper in another game after this and then she appeared as an NPC in Luke Scull's Neverwinter Nights module Tyrants of the Moonsea (Thanks Luke!), so I've explored her character enough. Not sure who I want to play yet.

Grabbed the priest again? I must admit I for someone not particularly religious in real-life I do gravitate towards priests. I've been wanting to give this particular speciality priest a go for quite a while.

That shouldn't stop you from going with a priest if you want. I don't think a group can have too many and they are still pretty good at fighting.

Naaaah, not a big fan of overlapping classes, and we already have two clerics.
Plus every self respecting group needs a Dwarf Fighter

Hey, Fighters start at level 1? No fair!

Good thing about Fighters is they do not take long to create - almost done.

Are we using any of the rules in the 'Complete' books? Not a big fan of the kits since we all know some of them are overpowered, but I do like the fighting styles proficiencies. They give a nice edge to Fighters.

Morning folks > I'll be heading out to a record show in a few, but wanted to drop in and answer any questions you have.
Of course, it looks like there are more questions than answers.

Let's talk about Kits and Proficiencies > what are you thoughts on using Kits or other supplements to flesh out your character?
Broad group proficiencies > thoughts?

I'm also considering making everyone start off at 2nd level...regardless of the XP differences.
