Current Combat Status

Just getting notes in one place.

When order matters Combat always goes
Missile
Move/Melee
Magic

Spells in place:
Earnan: Light
Morwen: Protection vs Evil, extended version
Hemia: Bless

Pre-Battle:
JJh and Dramm took potions of invulnerability
Dramm has oil of sharpness on his weapon
Barnaby drank flame breath

Round 1:
Earnan, Macnav, Si-woo, and JJh shot the Runepriest, taking him out.
JJh told Gurav to get up and boogie.
Borav freaked everyone out by super-animating the Dawi skeletons on our side.
Morwen Hasted Macnav, Dramm, Ji-ho, Earnan and Si-woo.
Korev got a couple barrels of firesand ready.

Round 2:
Super Dawi Skeletons move in and engage non-super Dawi skeletons.
Dramm and JJh move forward slowly (despite the haste) to protect the others and give everyone time to shoot.
Hemia uses Oil of Sharpness on several arrows and bolts.
Earnan, JJh, Si-woo, and Hodlar shoot the wights (hoping for the bigger targets, but it's more luck than anything).
Gurav and Borav use Oil of Sharpness on their and Korev's throwing and melee weapons.

Round 3:
Slight arrow damage to the wights.
Barnaby flame breath wights.
Turning and melee reduce the enemy skeletons and allied ghost!dawi.

Round 4:
Dramm and JJh hit by Thane and Champion, the battle continues.
Gurav and Borav hit by wights and begin to retreat/flee.

Party Status End of Round 3:
Dramm 6 HD (+1 Haste) 6/8 HP (Energy drain?)
Barnaby 3 HD, 3/3 HP, 3/3 SP
Earnan 3 HD (+1 Haste), 3/3 HP, 5/6 SP
Morwen 3 HD, 3/3 HP, ?/8 SP
Macnav 5 HD (+1 Haste), 5/5 HP
Gurav 5HD, 2/7(?) HP (Fighting Withdrawal)
Borav 3 HD, 3/3 HP, 1/3 SP (Fleeing)

Round 1
Earnan also shot at and hit the runepriest (used 1 magic arrow)

Round 2
Earnan also shoots at the wights (may have used 1 magic arrow, unless Hemia had already passed him an oiled one)

The friendly ghost!Dawi moved into the room to draw fire and engage the enemy skeletons. Dramm and JJh moved forward after them, with others behind the D/J wall. Gurav and the others move at 3, and the wights are roughly 8 from the door.

Aren't the wights bunched up to protect the Thane? I'm not sure if Dramm and Barnaby have missile weapons that can hit the wights, but Holy Water should do a good number on them.

Thrown Holy Water can go to 4, so we need to move 2 rounds to get in good range.
Korev also needs to be at 4, so he can throw the firesand.
Barnaby and Hemia need to be at 4 to Flame Breath.
At some point Hemia and Borav can try to turn the lower wights.
Dawi hurled weapons S/M/L ranges are 1/2/4.

So, bows and crossbows (JJh, Sw, Hodlar) for two rounds as we close. Then add Turning, Holy Water, Firesand, Hurled Melee, Flame Breath.

Then Melee.

If Morwen and Macnav hold back a bit then Morwen can be outside of the Bless and her magic will be stronger. Macnav can guard her and keep our exit open.

Morwen doesn't need to be outside of the range of Bless unless she wants to use her necromancy, and once the Runepriest is taken out his ability to squash the potency of Morwen's necromancy won't be an issue. Besides, if Morwen moves out of the range of Bless, the rest of you lose the Protection from Evil she cast. So, Morwen will play it by ear, since Bless doesn't affect her non-necromantic spells.

Did Barnaby have a chance to do Inspire Allies before the fight began? If so, what is the effect?

Inspire Allies is an ongoing effect whenever Barnaby chants his battle hymn. When he's belching flame it's not in effect.
