Arnholdt squad get settled in the transport. We will be spearheading this assault in conjunction with Ms Pestis. The aim is to be fast and quiet so ensure suppressers are fitted to your SMGs, we'll be taking grenades and breaching charges but only for use once our incursion is noticed.
As soon as the rest of the team get onboard we shall be en-route. So everyone check your equipment and the guys around you.

Freya does a full check of her Vacc-Suit and loads extra ammo, grenades and her drone.
And then she checks her team.
Don't forget the fibre cable and comms repeaters. Sensor balls for corners and the main comms link back to the transports.
and as a final check she re-checks her sights by finding a distant target and sending a couple of rounds down-range.
Weapons check she warns - just in case.

Fuernuzorg: Vargr elite special forces / personal retinue of Dzenae Ungogz. If these SEMC people have fought with the Fuernuzorg (each a Vargr of legendary renown) then they have been conducting "secret/black/core operations" under the direct will of the Warlord himself!
Tactical Knowledge: storming ships burns through a shitload of ammo. HE ammo (and grenades) have a frag/burst effect which might catch folk in cover (and shred vacc suits). Vacuum says: Kill the suit kill the man. But fighting folk in hard armour means you need HEAP - per man (no frag).)
Beau, the tall "Mehrine" with the "Riward/Daibei" accent (and the impressive hat) supplies Dzofin with grenades to his choice (HEAP/HE/Flashbang/IR Smoke) and an integrally suppressed factory fresh Snub SMG with advanced sights. It is surely an Imperial weapon finished in matt black and has no make, model, serial number or other identifying features. He comments politely "Mister Dzofin, sir, this weapon was previously owned by a SuSAG hitman who attempted a decapitation strike on SEMC command. Apparently there's a certain "ironic humour" there. There is some special ammo available if you want to sign for it. We don't really know what it does but given who you're riding with I guess you might. I'm guessin' with your "colours" an' all you're one o' those good 'ole Fuernuzorg boys, huh? We have mags designated HEAP(Z) because we got 'em from some Ine Givar yahoos who didn't need 'em anymore and HEAP(S) which the SuSAG team had locked and loaded. Otherwise there's as many Snub SMG mags of HEAP, HE or Tranq - needle or gas as you care to carry, sir".

Kit will make sure all his men will get fully ammoed up before the next mission. Suggesting that they get a bite to eat and some cool water.

Colonel, Are we going to designate an ammo resupply person? You know, extra grenades, etc.? And who is acting as Medical Evac and Support?
(And Freya makes sure her suit-patches are available)

The (stolen) Corporate shuttle lifts off from the Kruger Ranch and boosts into high atmosphere and then obtains orbit with no interference or sensor locks.
Since the intervention of the "bonus" (Consulate) fighter cover and the consequent "intrusion" of the Aslan Intruder Transport it would appear that close orbit defences/sensor activity have been suppressed/neutralised.
The SEMC Patrol Corvette "Deliverance" has moved into a High Guard position over the planet and control of the immediate space beyond far orbit and outer picket duty is dealt with by a 6G asset callsign "Wraith" and two high agility deep space fighters now also launched from the Kruger Ranch.
The onboard assault group is:
Klaus' Assault Section (Primary Unit)
Abel's Infantry (Secondary Unit)
Reserve: SEMC Officer cadre (inc Ms Pestis) and the SEMC Tech Unit.
All units are refreshed and have full ammo/expendables replenishment.

Using orbital debris and available clutter T'lia noses the stolen shuttle towards the asteroid facility Rond. Assisted by Ms Pestis she transmits the IFF Corporate code. Rond control confirms and vectors you to a hanger bay within the facility.
Rond control then contacts the flight crew on the Guard channel and asks "Hey, is Sergeant Turner aboard? Management are scheduling a "watercooler" with him ASAP. They've even moved this above all of his priority HR appointments! Anf have you heard anything from Evander? The Tech monitoring their channel reported a... workstation comfort issue... and became so "triggered" he had to get immediate counselling from HR. After the session he was much more "less triggered"... actually really very happy. What he thought was a "roar, shots and screams" was in fact "signal clutter". So, anyway I think there's a surprise coming... I have "Mushroom to Taupe" for the contemplation area in the sweepstake".

Men we need to do this quickly and quietly, suppressed equipment only until an alarm sounds. Presume anything moving is hostile and deal appropriately.
Ms Pestis, we are ready to go on your mark.

Freya looks at the pile of equipment that her team has considered essential... and readies herself to move it out of the airlock once that can be done safely. In the mean time, she prepares for the environment to be unsafe and checks her gauss rifle and drone.

Kit is slightly excited feeling the difference of how artificial gravity is on his body. He makes sure his equipment is ready and does a quick visual inspection that Abel's company has the suppressors in place signally a positive smile to each member of the team.

Re: Tarsus para bellum
Dzofin wags his tail at the mention of weapons and ammunition but his tail goes berserk and his ears swivel rigidly forward as he looks at the choices of ammunition and weapons. He strokes the SMG along his neck ruff claiming it as his with his scent. Dzofin looks up at the Marine and snaps his jaw in affirmative. "All weapons should have a history and a soul. How else can they bring fame and notice to their bearers. This is perfectly appropriate." His eyes ran over the magazines of ammunition and widened slightly. "I will gladly take all of the special ammunition. You can count on me to make good use of it. I am well known for utilizing nonstandard weapons and methods." The Dzofin was not about to disclaim being a member of the Fuernuzorg but rather let the human make this assumption on his own. Dzofin was not about to make a claim that would literally see him skinned alive for daring to do so. Of course the reputation he would gain working with such well connected humans would definitely advance his prospects. And what better way to show his importance than utilizing special, if unknown, ammunition. "Give me a couple magazines of tranq as well as a pair of smoke, a pair of flash bang and a pair of HE grenades." He cocked his head to the side and relaxed his ears a bit. "I must admit that I most admire your field hat. I am somewhat of an aficionado of distinctive headwear."Tiglath wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 11:09 pm Dzofin
