“If there were two of us, I wouldn’t be the one tied up,” she whispered in your ear before asking Roscoe for advice on a drink and ordering it.

Roscoe will help his friends with drink orders and then look at their leader. “What now? We’re here, so what do we do now? Mingling seems not to be very productive, unless one is looking for eye candy.”

The 'bot moves in as they pose with the group as the girls laugh and raise their glasses and adjust their furs "Ready? Altogether now "I'll sign with 4DC!"

Walt raises his pint and poses for the selfie and replaces "I'll sign with 4DC" with, "We're thinking about hiring 4DC".

Duran reintroduces himself and says quietly "My Lord, I understand that you wish to hire the services of our unit. Might I suggest we convene a preliminary business meeting after dinner? We can take a table here to ensure privacy is ensured. This restaurant is... very discrete and we can also layer on our own countermeasures. If you are at liberty to divulge any details of your requirements then that will assist our presentation of the services we offer. There also matters of brokerage and credit that can be addressed before we start the meeting".

William is diverted from his train of thought - and his drink. Following his gaze Roscoe sees four immaculately groomed men in black uniforms making their way to the bar. Their "Vilani" skin tone and 6' plus height are almost as distinctive as their white "turban" headgear. Their movements are graceful for big men, almost elegant and their interactions with others seem flawlessly polite. Their body language and posture is relaxed and at ease as they share a joke between them. One of them is acknowledged by a non 4DC mercenary officer in company with a brunette who is as attractive as she is visibly pregnant. One of them steps over to greet the couple and kiss the lady's hand before excusing himself. The four are then again greeted by Tourmaline (as hostess) and seem to observe some social deference to her which she is quick to play down. Equipping them with refreshment she mingles once more leaving them content in their own company.

Jaelah soon also gets "double tapped" this time the twins opt for eye rolling and tongues out as they frame Jaelah. She gets a "controlled/professional" vibe from them as they work the room. Whatever they're doing they're good at it.

Garvin prompts the team over the link with a holo of his face doing "mock surprise" while mostly obscured by well toned fur clad arse (or indeed ariss from his phonetic perspective*). William smiled at Ciencia while he shook his head. He then nods to Roscoe. "It seems that Walt has the 4DC folks attention. I guess he has already asked to hire them if I know my Growler. We'll see but I bet it's direct and to the point. As for mingling there's always the advantage of being seen. We are newcomers here and we need to give folks a chance to see us and get used to us on a more personal level. I'm going to talk to those Zhodani myself. I thought I saw some Aslan come in earlier, maybe see if there is an opportunity to introduce yourself."

He gave a little bow to Ciencia. "Feel like having a drink with a quartet of tigers?" William nodded slightly toward the four Zhodani. "I'm in the mood for a bit of a friendly chat." With her on his shoulder he approaches the four Zhodani. William's shield is up but his surface thoughts are friendly/curious. He greets them in rather fluent Zdetl. "Good evening gentlemen (using the noble tense), a very nice jump. Can I buy you all a drink? I am William Larsson and this is my wife Ciencia."
