A smiling Walt replies: ”For a novice. I saw on the rerun what some of the rest of you all did. Next time…now that I know who to beat and the standard needing surpassing!

THAT was fun! I definitely need to do that again!”
He releases Bona’s hand and extends in an offered shake.

”Names’s Slaine. Walter Slaine.” He leans in conspiratorially and lowers his voice to a whisper.

”Count Walter Slaine, but we ain’t in the Imperium right now so there will be no fuss over that.”

Raising his voice to normal he releases the shake. “But call me Walt…or in the right time and place, Growler!

Let me introduce my lovely and ass-kicking lady Bona. Hey how can a guy get a couple of good red-ales ‘round here?”

“I feel overdressed,” she said, elbowing him and looking at the blonde twins with a grin. “I bet you wish I had an accommodating sister.”

William chuckled and lowered his voice. "Only if she was your blonde twin. Then I might just be in hog heaven." He looked at her and winked. "I'm sure can whip up something that will put those two to shame. You would certainly be good advertising for the Guild." He gave her a pat on the rump and guided her toward the bar. "You are more woman than anyone here tonight no matter what you are or are not wearing. Perhaps later we might get an outfit like that for you and we can play mercenary and client tonight."

As he approached the bar where Walter was standing with Bona and Skeet he introduced himself. "William 'Silencer' Larsson and this beauty is my wife Ciencia Larsson. As you can see Walt and Roscoe over there are our experts."

Skeet orders from a very attendant attendant and red ales appear as a drink order all round is both taken and rapidly delivered as Skeet's pint of Kristal is topped up. "Cheers! Er... unless you're Count of Engrange... or Lanth nobility..."

"He's not". The Swordy amazon from the downport introduces herself nearly managing to make handshakes competitive "Major. Tourmaline. 4DC". She takes an extra second or so gripping Bona's hand which is interrupted by Skeet growling "Phwoar..oughough - sorry, bubbles". Tourmaline snarks "Fífl, try a straw!" a student of relationships might guess there is some history there.

As folk mingle about both William and Ciencia and Walt and Bona are approached by the fur wearing blond twins who are juggling (what an (in)appropriate term) their furs and identical cocktails. They are accompanied by a discretely small media/spy bot with a 4DC logo. The party girls chorus "Hie, we are Styx and Lethe. We are 4DC recruiting". The sing song lilt of their Sword World accents is evident. They look at each other and giggle then chorus as they point to Walt and William "Imperial Marine, Imperial Marine" they cast their contact comm details to yours. "4DC is ready to recruit elite specialists if you are ready for a career change. We would ease you through the process" (they somehow manage to convey that they would). Turning to Ciencia and Bona they confess "You two confuse us. Scout Service and... Planetary Defence Force? Can we take a holo pic?" The 'bot moves in as they pose with the group as the girls laugh and raise their glasses and adjust their furs "Ready? Altogether now "I'll sign with 4DC!"

The group gets an apologetic smile from the "silver fox" (introduced as Duran) as he mingles in apparent pursuit of the giggling girls.

These warriors have traditional armour and look to be just as big and dangerous as their 4DC Imperial accoutered counterparts. Jaelah notes these warriors must carry shoulder mounted projectors which display holographic blue silk flags decorated with a "mon" in aslan script. She notes that the blue is the same colour as the 4DC guards' "favours".

At the bar she and Roscoe see a female aslan garbed in the same blue silk accompanied by the similarly attired stunning blond from the "advert" for the Teahleikhoi / Regiment of the Falling Night. The blond walks a pace behind the female aslan and the pair in turn are followed by a smaller female aslan in a plain grey robe that Jaelah nearly failed to notice.

As the female aslan approaches the bar staff produce a ridiculously overdone "cocktail" in a jug which features at least one whole root vegetable, sparklers, a small self powered windmill, sundry decorative items and vegetation centered around an incredibly gaudy pulsing neon 4DC centerpiece.
