Re: OOC II
Hmm C&C haven't played that before. Or maybe that was one i tried briefly on here and bowed out because i felt like i was dragging the game down.... can't recall. I'll think on it Ahlmzhad and reach out to you if still interested.

C&C is a 1e derivative that uses some D20 mechanics like positive AC and a standard modifier on attributes. Plays very much the same.GreyWolfVT wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 8:20 pm Hmm C&C haven't played that before. I have the rules somewhere. Not my favorite but I like the setting idea. Just might take a few days to get a character made. After that I should be able to keep up fine. If you are good with that I am in.

I had a friend on Google Groups that made his own custom C&C and I remember helping him off and on when he hit roadblocks or had questions on how to change something he was working on.

No problem. Any Oe, 1e, 2e, Basic player would find the game very familiar to play.GreyWolfVT wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 9:58 amMy bad I think I mixed up C&C and Chainmail.Ahlmzhad wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2024 9:22 pmC&C is a 1e derivative that uses some D20 mechanics like positive AC and a standard modifier on attributes. I like it as a DM because it has a challenge system. Very simple player wants to do x, then what attribute is involved and roll a d20. From a DM's perspective it simplifies running monsters as it's a simple matter of +HD to the to hit roll. Basically knocks some of the rough edges off.

Happy New Year Everyone!
Thanks Everyone for playing.

Sounds great - Happy New Year!
Re: OOC II
Hello Everyone I hope you had a great holiday season. I am ready to start this back up and thought I should start by checking to see who is still with us and wants to continue to play. I will adjust based on responses. Thanks for playing so far and I am looking forward to continuing our Harnic adventurers.

Re: OOC II
I think I am still here unless this is an out of body experience....

Re: OOC II
Glad to see you are both still on board. Not sure about an out of body experience for you Ed but it is very possible for several of the characters in the game.

Re: OOC II
I am out, best of luck with the game.
Re: OOC II
Thanks for playing sulldawga, it was fun having you in the game.
Re: OOC II
Thanks gurusql, glad to see you are continuing as well.
Re: OOC II
I took a look today and ,
Ahlmzhad last posted December 5th
AleBelly last posted September 10th
Marullus last posted January 5th
So, I think it is safe to assume Ahlmzhad and AleBelly are out for now. Marullus will hopefully see my post/PM and reply the next time he is on one way or the other. I will restart things and NPC the non-players until I have an opportunity to have them split off.

Re: OOC II
Sorry... I was waffling. RL is pretty tight. As long as our post Rate stays reasonable, I will stay in. If I end up overwhelmed ai will let you know.
