One of me rules is about what you can and can't do to women - maybe it's a bit antiquated in the modern age but there you go. The other rule is about violent nasty sex cases like you Jacko an' that rule is when I come across 'em I put 'em down. Nothin' personal - it's just for the good of humanity. I don't go out me way - but 'ere you are! It won't hurt - I'll just break yer neck. So, while I'm finishin' me steak why don't you put me mind at rest? For the first try Garvin sets things up with three small cells in a row facing a table. The team telepath is in the middle cell (cell 2) at as short a range as we can contrive from the bad guys (who occupy cells 1 and 3). He then orders himself a big steak with a very aromatic pepper corn sauce, a pint of french fries piping hot to make their vinegar dressing volatile, some (very) garlic bread on the side and a pint of stout.

He enters the area visible from the cells puts down his meal on its trencher, adds seasoning and begins to enjoy it. He looks up to notice the prisoners and states "Save your breath. This is my steak - you're gettin' kibble. Tomorrow. An' no - you can't move next to your mate so you can grab each other through the bars. Cor, you've got plenty o' that to look forward to! Update for you. We were goin' to interview you - just for the form of it really but that Sternmetal bird's doin' all your talkin' for you. Fek me she's done you two up like a pair of kippers! Anyway this is yer welfare visit..." he smiles "... you're gettin' fek all! 'Ow d'you like them onions?"

They seem to be seasoned at this kind of thing and don't bother responding.

Bad news is that despite an invitation to put their side of it or even just shift some of the blame over onto Fortune... they're sayin' nothin'. I suppose that corroborates Miss Fortunes' version as mostly true an' that these two are so sick of 'emselves that they won't make even the slightest effort to save their own skins. Well, I'm done with 'em. In fact even bein' in the same room's bringin' on a touch of indigestion. His knuckles go white as he grips his knife and fork, then with an apparent effort of will he relaxes the raging tension in his muscles, puts his knife and fork neatly down and addresses the prisoners with barely suppressed, and quite possibly psychotic, ire "Look, I'm tryin to enjoy a meal 'ere... an' you two are ruddy terrible at dinner conversation! Your awesome rolls earlier mean you steer them down memory lane well enough to not only confirm the people but get a lead on their blackmail stash they have on the security forces, including the one dirty one you already met. You'll have to secure that or could get Omicron to do that. As they are busy cleaning house already, it would fit and allow you to wrap up this long-running thread. Aster will pay the bounty on them, so her comrades will be happy to take them off your hands.

Roscoe will suggest getting the name of the dead woman from Mad Dog's ship and the circumstances of her death. That's the only real item outstanding connected to Mad Dog and you need to turn her over to her family, if she has one.

Still no response, but she was a local that they'd worked with in the past. When they found the computer files and stole the computer, one of them said something where she might have overheard them, so the liquidated her. She'll have family, but they likely don't think much of her.

Once you drain them dry of info, you can stun them and get them into low berths for later retrieval.

Any closing actions before you get back to Yamaguchi Starport and start the next sequence?

No worries. Other than your wedding (delayed) night, I think this thread is about played out. We'll do your bit here, but I'll start a new thread for what comes next.

When everything else is done, Kira will give you a tour of the owner's suite. It's big enough to very comfortably house 36 people in pampered luxury. The men might poopoo that, but the women all gravitate to the bathrooms and massive luxury showers. And the pool.

The gym is also very large and well equipped. Anything you can imagine is here. The bedrooms are huge and have beds big enough for an orgy. The kitchen is everything Roscoe could dream of. The ceiling over the entire suite is transparent and shows the stars. Kira indicates that can be turned off which makes the metal opaque for any room or the entire suite at your desire.

There will be a team of chefs to make dinner for all once the tour is complete. It is almost as good as what Roscoe can do. When that is done, Kira and Jessica will excuse themselves with the understanding that they are both available for you at any time.

With that out of the way, you now have time to figure out what you want to do next. Ciencia is looking at one of the bedrooms and then at William in a meaningful way. Aster and Garvin have disappeared... somewhere. The rest of you can do as you want or discuss things over breakfast if you like.

Feel free to do anything RP for the evening. William and Ciencia and Garvin and Aster experience the same thing that Roscoe and Jaelah did. As Garvin and Aster hadn't had that before, this has to be because they are both Ancients, not just psionic.

When the next morning rolls around, everyone (including Jaelah) wake to find Roscoe is already up and has made a tremendous breakfast for all. "Morning," he says. "Eat up. We have a lot to do today."

Getting caught in the time warp as I catch up.

After dinner William stands up next to Ciencia's chair and holds out a hand. "I believe we need to christen our suite." When she stands he will pick her up in a fire man's carry over his shoulder. His right hand will be firmly placed on her pristine bottom. His left hand will be holding her securely. "Ups'a daisy now." He tickled her a bit and let his hand roam as well. When they reached he opened it, headed in and kicked it closed. William took her over to the bed and set her down in the middle. He knelt on the edge of the bed next to her. "I've been ready for this moment since almost the first time I saw you."
