William grins evilly. "Definitely."
"So what do you think of your first raid Ciencia?"

Remember that the questioner can do the psionic monitoring. Then they know when to use the points.
“I didn’t get to shoot anybody,” she grumbled. “What a ripoff.” Then she grinned. “I suppose it was exciting enough. Thank you for letting me come along.”
Re: 006: Welcome to Yamaguchi Starport
William chuckles a bit at Frederick's advice. "Teresa called it on the celibacy recommendation." He nodded more seriously. "I will love her and treat her with respect and patience. As for her impulsiveness, that joyous free spirit is much of who she is."terrymixon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:29 am
"Have you considered a vow of celibacy? I'm not an older brother figure. Be honest, I'm a favored uncle. I can't say anything, other than be good to her and try to rein in the worst of her impulses."

Ankara would have searched them immediately for comms and hideouts, but it appears it was not needed.
“So the woman is a Stermmetals exec that was running these guys I think, they got rowdy or wanted more?”

Jaelah shakes her head with a smile. "Shooting someone is way too much paperwork, and then you have to report it to the people Upspire." She shrugs. "Of course, you'd have to explain it to your father. On that note, want to help figure out what naughtiness Sternmetal Horizons is into these days?"terrymixon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 6:16 am“I didn’t get to shoot anybody,” she grumbled. “What a ripoff.” Then she grinned. “I suppose it was exciting enough. When the go is given Garvin launches himself at the entrance raising his hands to slap against the outside lintel. Surprisingly this gives him purchase allowing him to convert his forward momentum into a feet first vault into the room redundantly striking and knocking down the already stunned Matson. He easily secures the subdued prisoner cheerfully commenting "Always 'ad sticky fingers, me".
With the action concluded he contacts Spicoli "Make sure you purge any record of our attack from any internal security cameras, systems and back ups. If you need any of the physical elements for absolute certainty I'll collect them on the way out".
(OOC: Danged inconvenient planetary rotation! I need to fix that...
Nevertheless well done the team. A "wild" disintegrator rod was a nerve jangler...
Well done all!
)
He adds his input to the exchange between William and Walter. He grins " 'Ark at you two gettin' all interrogation savvy. Direct intimidation an' physical won't work on these two charmers - they've been in the game too long. If there's a line they crossed it a long time ago. Just the threat of a basic tune up would work on the lawyer but I'm not sure if she's quite evil enough for me to make 'er an exception to me rules about women. The psi route, with interrogators they think they can beat should work best". He then adds "Why not do a deep dive on 'em now while they're sparko an' see what's floatin' in their sewer like minds. We might either dig up somethin' that needs immediate action or give ourselves more leverage an' psi prompts for the interview? We can just 'old 'em in custody while we recover our mental strength".

"Already in motion. I'll clear it up once you've left and then self-destruct the stick. It'll just melt a little, not hurt anything."
Get on that.
Metz will pocket the disruptor rod. "Best not to let this get into circulation. Huh. It claims to be full and has a dozen charges. I'll scan it when we get back to the ship and then we can at least make full ones."
"Not sporting. I'll leave him to you."Tiglath wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:29 pmGarvin offers " 'Ere you go, Princess, you can stun Matson 'ere a bit more if you like. "Digging around without questions to focus them won't work," Roscoe said. "It's too disorganized. We need to dig when someone is asking questions to turn their minds to what they need to hide."Tiglath wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:29 pm He adds his input to the exchange between William and Walter. That perked her up. "Yes. I haven't wanted to do anything like that with Fredrick and Terresa. It seems so invasive that I don't want to know what they are thinking. They deserve their privacy. This lady, on the other hand, deserves a little snooping. Do I get to ask questions, too? Will she know who I am or will I be a nameless assistant?"joertexas wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:15 pm"Want to try reading her thoughts?"terrymixon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:53 pm"I'd be happy to. "Bring a datapad and pretend to take notes," Jaelah grins. "That way, you can focus on reading her and directing me. I will ask the questions that I can think of, or that you suggest to me. You will be questioning her, but indirectly."terrymixon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:27 pmThat perked her up. "Yes. I haven't wanted to do anything like that with Fredrick and Terresa. She rubs her hands together. "This is exciting. I'll go change into something mousy and put my hair in a bun." She races off to get ready and returns a few minutes later looking... average. You'd never guess she was a noble, much less a high noble. "I can sit in the corner. Just make sure to order me to take notes and tell me not to screw them up this time. Be a little irritated with me. That will mark me as an underling. Aster, you be sure to tell me to note specific things so she doesn't know who I 'work' for."joertexas wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:56 pm"Bring a datapad and pretend to take notes," Jaelah grins. "I can do that," Aster says. "I ran her face and got a hit. She's--believe it or not--Mary Jo Fortune, Director of Patent Acquisitions with Sternmetal Horizons. Kind of on the nose, there. She's on the upper end of middle management in the company hierarchy here at Glisten."
The two men are in the brig, and I will assume the guys will handle them there. Where and how will you set up for Miss Fortune? Did you see what I did there? Misfortune! Ha!
As this seems to be Girl's Night at the interrogation center, shall we add Terresa for obvious muscle? She's going to be there anyway but can change her appearance to look less military.

Re: 006: Welcome to Yamaguchi Starport
Gentlemen, as the ladies have the female prisoner in hand, the two hardcases are in the brig awaiting your attention. Please proceed.
Re: 006: Welcome to Yamaguchi Starport
Garvin stows mission gear and attends to the male prisoners' security ensuring the environment in their cell is harsh and uncomfortable enough to deter if not deny rest.
He's interested to watch the "girls" work this interrogation styled as an interview.
He gives Ciencia a couple of tips in "muting" her demeanour. "I'm willin' to bet someone taught you 'ow to sit elegantly so just re-apply all the bad posture 'abits you used to get in trouble for learnin' that. Remember that you 'ave a very bright an' inquirin' mind but the person you're playin' now doesn't an' gets bored easily so look a bit less focussed. Whoa - too far... so dial it back - good. That was good but too much - you... very nearly skipped over into a whole other career there! Now give yourself one prop to 'ide be'ind: chew gum, scratch a narco patch under your sleeve, 'ave a runny nose but not chewin' yer datapad stylus 'cos that's effectively you pointin' at yer face an' drawin' attention's not the name o' this game".
(OOC: Deception: Helping Ciencia disguise herself
[2d6+10]=9+10=19
Which I believe hands the "effect" over for her to use).

As she's sitting there ready to take notes, she crosses one leg over the other and starts bobbing the foot like it's a boat on the waves. Not too much, but enough to get irritating. "I'd chew some gum, but that might be too much when I start sounding like I'm from a low-density illumination pack."
She smiled. "And thanks for the pointers. They'll help me a lot. If I can ever return the favor for high society, don't hesitate to ask."

William nods. "The best ones do you know us better than we know ourselves. Although Teresa recommended that I take the Princess out on a hypersonic outing." He thinks for a moment. When William sees Ciencia he does a double take and it applauds. He addresses Garvin and Ciencia. "Both of you well done! I doubt her father would recognize her." He looks angrily at Garvin. "What other bad habits is she going to bring home? Hopefully not eating crackers in bed." Then William laughs and clasps Garvin on the back.terrymixon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:55 pm"I can't use ALL the bad habits they beat out of me," she said with a chuckle. "I'd be a caricature. Re: 006: Welcome to Yamaguchi Starport
Walt will step back aboard ship and visit Bona to see how’s she’s faring with her recovery. He’ll share the Neuron link recording of the takedown with them. ”And would ya look at Metz. That’s your badass big brain of a husband taking down one of the thugs! What a shot!” He’ll mention that he cannot wait to do field work with Bona! He’ll point out several factors that led to the plan decision and critique the execution…pointing out how that was about a near-flawless takedown as could have happened. He’s proud of the team!
Upon leaving and regarding the interrogation: ”So, where in the ship will the interrogations take place? The brig will still hold prisoners, so where will the individual interrogations take place? Probably have to do them chronologically. Is Roscoe going to reconfigure a section of the cargo hood into an interrogation room or something? If so, can we get it complete with a one-way mirror and an observer room? This’ll be fun to watch. ”
