We act and are governed by the Emperor himself and that is the separation. The Emperor will hold shares but not be a member of the Guild. Besides. I trust Ciencia to manage that gap between the Throne and the Guild when she becomes Empress."

As Garvin and Aster hadn't had that before, this has to be because they are both Ancients, not just psionic.

Garvin wakes groggily and focusses on the strangely angled cloth above him. His free hand reaches out and feels for and rejects a glass and then a bottle but, in a moment of inspiration, reaches down to find an abandoned ice bucket. Dexterously lifting the same he pragmatically drinks his fill as Aster stirs gently still atop his other arm.

He raises an eyebrow at his much less than expected hangover and then, through further one armed exploration, finds the room comm and mutedly orders breakfast guessing at scrambled eggs and smoked fish for Aster.

She soon stirs enabling him to both kiss her good morning and ease the cramp from his pinned arm.

"Breakfast's on the way an' ... an' ruddy 'ell!"

Their suite looks like a bar room brawl was fought in it - over several nights.

He remembers the bed post failing during one of the many more vigorous moments and laughs "I've never slept in a three poster bed before... what did we do last night?" He slips on a robe and absently unties one of Aster's stockings from a remaining bedpost before righting the overturned couch with a fond smile. He made his way to the suite door to intercept the breakfast delivery thereby avoiding the wreckage inside the room becoming immediately visible. It all looked worse from the door. One post of the four poster was snapped in half leaving the canopy draped over the bed like a forlorn tent, the sink was off its mounting and water was already pooling beneath it. Their clothes were all over the room and one of the chairs was missing an arm. As the trail of destruction gave his memory cues Garvin simply laughed as he hit the frsher which, quite miraculously, appeared to still function.

"Aster love, breakfast's happened an' someone destroyed our room!"

The trip is fast at 20 Gs. No one seems to notice your ship, even the naval overwatch. That proves the stealth is good.

Roscoe drops out of stealth after slowing and gets a bay. The ship is landed and ready for you to debark.

“My contact has followed them to a private cargo storage facility,” Roscoe said. “They are still inside and have been there for half an hour. We can be at the business in fifteen minutes.”

He's a scientist, so he's dense in social situations. You'd have had to lead him along out of earshot and this situation didn't lend itself to that.
