Does anyone else want to know something specific while I can maintain this? If she really starts hurting, I'll have to stop or risk injury. I have to say, this is like wading through a sewer. I don't like doing this."

"Levi Quinn. He's not nearly as much of a horse's ass. He'll get it done and can secure the duchess's quarters and offices, secret and regular. Do we have anyone else here that knows anything?"

"Not from the duchess's side," Roscoe said after giving over the name of the messenger. "Her son is back on their fief and the lawyer is on Banfi Station. The messenger probably is, too. I think we might have to hit the admiral's assistant. I'll know in short order if they know anything or not. At the least, we should be able to get some names of the man's closest associates. I'll go get him or her."

He'll duck out and return with a female Navy captain. She'll take her seat and resolutely not look at the blood or weapon. She seems unperturbed and calm. "Captain Wanda Trelane, Aide to Admiral Noster. How may I assist in your investigation?"

"Starting my probing now," Roscoe said.



Roll should be one lower, but still a success. That should be 5 minutes, too.
