Hello

#1 Post by HereticalOne »

Hello,
I've always wanted to try out a play-by-post game, so here I am.
As a player, I'm primarily interested in Labyrinth Lord, Swords & Wizardry or Mutant Future.
If you're curious, I'm one-half of the team that does the Hereticwerks blog.

Welcome Jim!
Is the blog a role playing game one?

Be well!
--Ron--
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Ah it is! But phew, you'd better change the link to blogspot because I don't think you want folks going to that blopsot page... it's a little hellfire and brimstone.
:D

Thanks for pointing that out--I recently scalded my hand, so typing is still not back to 100%. I fixed the link. Sorry about that. Guess they must be worried about us somehow.

Hereticwerksis a blog that does a lot of RPG-stuff, as well as some fiction, art and other stuff. Thanks for the assist!

Welcome to the Unseen Servant, Jim! Speak up if you have any questions about PbP, whether they are general or specific to the US forums. Lots of people here happy to help. Even have a few that are unhappy-to-help-but-forced-into-servitude, so all our bases are covered.

Sorry to hear about the hand. Don't forget to draw out the bad blood with leeches. Just be careful where you discard them if you have royal blood in you, ok?

Cheers,

Al

Thanks everyone. I'm really new at this Play-by-Post stuff, but I have been experimenting with a serialized adventure that lets the readers suggest what happens next on our blog every Thursday. Feel free to drop by and check it out if you're so inclined.

Looking forward to joining a game soon.
