The login problem resolved to being my end. If you forget your login password, you can press the 'I forgot' tab which sends a link to the email address used by yourself when you first registered or to this original one if you have not updated. So my named account @hotmail was not recognised as when I joined back in 2012, I actually used my office address @hotmail (I was working for some language translators & TEFL teachers) as my home did not have WiFi.

But I moved on in life and work. So not updating meant only forum moderators could access my profile and update with a new email so I could follow the link to reset or restore my password.

I think the 'Contact a moderator' tab is also not available so I had to do extra research and contact admin and explain my predicament.

Once the link was sent to my new email address, I could verify myself immediately.

So a good point for us all to keep our profiles updated for unexpected communication needs.

That is good to know. I wonder if the notification emails I get go to the same email. If so it is sort of a check that they have the correct email.

I feel like I just keep coming on here to make excuses, but...

I was all primed to set aside a couple hours to advance both stories this weekend and my dog was bitten by a copperhead. Emergency vet appointment, etc. etc. meant I didn't get to it. I should have time tonight. Dog is doing much better. Lots of copperheads in NC this year unfortunately.

We're also pretty busy getting ready to send CAI4 off to college in a couple weeks, so I anticipate things being a bit slow for the next few weeks but then we'll get back to the pace we had in the spring. As always, thanks for the patience and continued interest!

I agree with Rex as well. Take care of you first. We will be here when you are done with moving and taking care of your pooch. :)

Hi all - just a check-in. Move-in for son at college went well, but I've been spending nearly every waking minute from the last three weeks working. Big strategic decision coming up and a lot of work to do. I don't anticipate it lasting much longer, but rather than make a promise for when an update is coming I'll actually make an update then post about it. :)

I will first update the second funnel, then put things in place to kick off level 1 adventures for the first party.

Again, apologies. It has been a real convergence of unusual events in my life for the last six months or so.

I am heading into the woods for a camping/hunting trip. May be back one night to re-supply, not sure yet but planning to be gone until the night of the 27th. Please NPC my character(s).

Guess I didn't need to pick up the rule book for this system after all.

I am still unsure how this game wouldn't be considered Abandoned in a situation like this.

I actually did initially move this game to the 'Abandoned' games section, but AleBelly is a long-time trusted user, and he did indicate some some real-life turbulence in his last post (which, granted, was two months ago).

It was just a judgement call, and hopefully AleBelly will return and not prove me to be a sucker. :D

Thanks!

I am impressed that you still check these after they've been exiled. :D
