Good Sunday morning folks!
I will be archiving this game by week's end, so you need to come up with a plan on how to get some of the treasure out of the tomb; the quicker the better. It won't take long for the swamp to realize Sakatha is dead (again) and this will create a power vacuum that will surely attract others...including treasure hunters.

Where's a large bag of holding when you need one! :D

Any thoughts on Treasure moving? We have a lot to deal with, including the high priest stuff and the dragon's lair. And that's not including any miscellaneous stuff like tapestries and artwork.

A cart? Floating disc? Bury it all and come back later?

Maybe we work on creating some kind of cart. I need to look back over the adventure to see if we can find something useable.

There are several tables and chairs scattered throughout from which you could fashion a cart. But, you would need tools to do so ;)
There is the option of floating it out on canoes/skiffs, but no telling where that would get you. Still might be worth a try.

A barge might work and if it sinks we have just buried it.

We'll have to be like the dwarves in the Hobbit. Bury it and make it a long term deposit. ;)

Thanks for the XP Roan gets to retire at level 5 now or come back in another game down the road maybe.

From the hoard of Aulicus the Black:
Fahima, with the help of Cassius, gather all of the magical items detected by Sai's spell. Here is what they pile up to the side:
- suit of platemail
- pair of soft gray leather boots
- a flail
- a mace
- a scrollcase
- three flasks: one has a blue liquid, one a green, and the third is clear

Sai picks up the hilt of a sword, still in its leather scabbard which is barely holding itself together.
Cassius and Zan gather gems from the pile of coins, not seeing any gold or platinum among the trove.
But, there are plenty shiny gemstones:
- 10 pieces of black Hematite (10 gp each)
- a small leather bag containing 20 bloodstones (50 gp each)
- a small chest (about the size of a woman's jewelry box) with 20 rosy pearls (200 gp each)
- 10 pieces of uncut golden yellow topaz (500 gp each)
- set of aquamarine earrings and matching necklace (4000 gp value)
- a large leather bag of 5 deep purple Amethyst (1000 gp each)
- a small box with a golden ring set with a Star Sapphire gem (5000 gp value)

Thousands of silver and copper pieces. More than each of you can carry.
Zan

Zan will pick up some of what he considers PARTY treasure

- a small leather bag containing 20 bloodstones (50 gp each)
- a large leather bag of 5 deep purple Amethyst (1000 gp each)
- a small box with a golden ring set with a Star Sapphire gem (5000 gp value)

Recorded on character sheet as such.

I am assuming that Cassius picked up the other items the duo found, namely.

- 10 pieces of black Hematite (10 gp each)
- a small chest (about the size of a woman's jewelry box) with 20 rosy pearls (200 gp each)
- 10 pieces of uncut golden yellow topaz (500 gp each)
- set of aquamarine earrings and matching necklace (4000 gp value)
Cassius
He'll carry the rest of the party treasure.
Sai
Will sheath his sword and gather up some silver and stuff his pack.
All of this is just from the dragon's lair; Fahima also pulled out a sweet magical sword.

As for Sakatha's treasure:
Roan - thumb ring
Zan - spell book and orb and scroll, along with 250 gold
Cassius - javelin

Still a few items of treasure along with a ton of coins, which Cassius has attempted to arrange in piles > this would take hours, by the way ;)

So...are you spending the night in order for Sai to summon mules the next day to help you haul out this treasure?
If you are spending the night, where do you hole up?
Make sure you add ANYTHING you've picked up to your sheet.
Also, make sure you DELETE anything you've used (potions, scrolls, etc) from your sheet. :)

You're welcome for the XP! You did a great job and it's hard to believe a bunch of (mostly) 4th level characters took down Sakatha!
Talk to me about how you want to wrap this up.
Winter is coming...

Nice, thanks for going back and grabbing that.

For bookkeeping purposes, what were the properties of that platemail in Aulicus's hoard, along with Bronn's sword?
Did Mordrin have any items of note on him? I don't think we have any detect magic left, so Cassius will take his gear just in case.

For the group:
I think we split up the Dragon's gear, the gray boots and such. I know Cass has the platemail. Who got the other things? We should grab them to disperse if we left them there.

The poisoned chest in the highpriests room had a bunch of gold and platinum hues. Let's take the contents.

This is what Bronn mutters as he walks straight to the biggest chest, undeterred by any in the group, and before Gormundel can stop him, grabs the latch and lifts it open. Bronn Save vs. Poison: [1d20+1]=12+1=13

In the torch light, thousands of coins glitter and gleam with gold and platinum hues. Bronn steps back, wipes his hands on his pants, and approaches the second, much smaller chest. Only faltering for a second, the big warrior grabs the latch and opens it as well. Bronn Save vs. Poison: [1d20+1]=6+1=7
Revealed in the torch light is a small cylinder case etched with silver filigree.

Bronn coughs and chokes, falls to his knees at the third chest, and flings it open...falling face first onto the floor. His tongue lolls out of his mouth, turning black as the shocked onlookers take a step or two back from him.Bronn Save vs. Poison: [1d20+1]=2+1=3
Like the other small chest, this one too holds a single small cylinder case. This one is trimmed in gold runes of power.
Let's hole up, maybe back in the priest's chambers and then use the mule plan.

But excellent job everyone! Especially to you Hedge. I'd love to continue the exploits of Cassius the Archer at some point.

Still no concrete plan of what your group is doing, other than suggestions of spending the night, summoning mules, checking for magic, loading treasure, etc.

I wanted us to wrap this up by the end of August, but since we are unsure what to do exactly, I'm giving this until this Wednesday, where I will archive it regardless ;)
I'm headed out of town early Thursday morning for a few days and won't really be online.

As a GROUP, give me a plan.
I realize this would be much easier sitting around a table. So, you will need to chat amongst yourselves and come up with something everyone can agree on. :)
