Stats prior to dragon breath:

Allean - healing potion
Elwood - smoking sword
Gurkan - down 5
Khawla - scroll
Tuga - down 2/18; hat of disguise & healing potion
Tumbler - bracelet & wand

Stats after dragon breath:

Allean - healing potion
Elwood - down ?/22; smoking sword
Gurkan - down 5+/19
Khawla - down 19/26; scroll

Tuga - down 2/18; hat of disguise & healing potion
Tumbler - bracelet & wand

I haven't been using the critical saves and such at all in this game. If I had, things may have been a bit different throughout, and Khawla would currently be dead. ;)
Waiting on saves from Elwood and Gurkan.

Like critical saves and failures, I really haven't been keeping up with hero points.
Another thing I really don't care for in Pathfinder 2e.

In case you guys overlooked it, the dragon is not on the floor of the cavern:
"Atop its mushroom tower..."
This means it's about 10' off the ground. To attack it where it is currently, you would need to either do a ranged attack or climb on top of the mushroom.
Tuga's entanglement spell will still be applicable, and the dragon may come down to floor level and attack; that is yet to be seen.

Updated stats after the dragon breathes its acidic gas:
Elwood down 19/22
Gurkan - down 24/19 and dying
Khawla - down 19/26

Will give Allean and Tumbler another day to post before moving forward to its natural end by the 31st.

Since the dragon is out of melee range and Gurkan is down I am going to switch my action if that is OK. If not just ignore my more recent post and use the first one.

quick note, Gurkan has 30 hp total from his last level increase,
not that it will help much probably going down next turn

if he can Gurkan will try to step a side and use his bow to attack the dragon

It's not updated on your sheet.
But since this is the last battle, I'll let it slide.

I think we can use Hero points to avoid death, right?

Thanks folks!
I had a good time and learned a little bit about a new system (enough to know I never want to play it again). :D

I am selling all my Pathfinder 2E materials if anyone is interested.
I have the massive Core Rulebook, the Advanced Players Guide, and a Beginners Box Set with a shit ton of pop out figures.
Let me know if you are interested before I sell it online.

Thanks for a great game Gary, loved the ending!

I am not interested in the rules, I won't swear I will "never" play them again but I doubt it.

Thank you also! a bit overpowered for the PCs and a lot to learn, appreciate you trying.

How the F did they think we could take on a dragon at second level?

According to the Game Master's Guide that came with the beginner box, it was stated the PCs could retreat if overpowered and the dragon wouldn't follow, allowing them to heal up and come at it again. ;)
