14-Week Freddy is Tukwila’s most feared legbreaker. His name comes from the length of time his victims usually end up in the hospital. Freddy usually works for Bill Sikes, but every now and then he takes contracts from the mob or private citizens. He stands just over 6’2’. He doesn’t appear excessively muscled, but he knows how to use what he has, and he usually uses it to cause pain. Freddy dresses in worn-out, second-hand clothes. He prefers olive or tan khaki pants and button-down shirts. He has a blue denim shirt that doubles as a jacket. He never appears in public without his trusty baseball bat, and he’s not afraid to use it. No one has ever seen him smile.

Bill Sikes more or less runs most of the seedy operations in the Tukwila area. He is primarily a loan shark, but he also runs the local protection racket. Sikes also charges the local street kids, joy girls, and boy toys a registration fee to do any business in his domain. Sikes himself is a swarthy Caucasian human who more or less epitomizes the image of white trash. He has beady dark eyes and dirty blond hair which he generally wears in a short ponytail. He nearly always wears faded denim jeans. His bodyware ranges from various colored wife-beater shirts in the summer, flannel vests made from cut-off flannel shirts in the fall, and long-sleeved plaid flannel in the winter. Sikes is short of stature and of patience, often resorting to violent means of resolution. When such measures are called for, Sikes usually sends 14 Week Freddy, his preferred leg breaker, out to handle matters for him.

Falstaff is a low-end fixer who operates in Tukwila. He is basically reliable, if not truly "trustworthy". He stays bought and offers fair goods at only slightly outrageous prices; he fences hot goods without pointing any fingers. Falstaff is also extremely paranoid. He rarely meets with anyone face to face, preferring to conduct business over the phone (with the vid off) or through intermediaries. Therefore, almost no one – the PCs are no exception – knows what Falstaff looks like.

Pandora is a decker; a fairly good one from what the team has seen. She knows accounting, including how to keep double-books to hide money gained from illicit methods. She is, she insists, legally a CPA, though she lost her bonded status when she was arrested. Other than those two observations that the team has made in the last three weeks, the party knows little about Pandora.

What they do know is the following: She is a convicted felon who served time at Silcox Island and she is currently serving her last three months of parole. Pandora has a legal SIN under her given name – Pamela Anderson. Her parole officer, Damien Whitehead, told Headstone as much. The company where Pandora worked prior to joining Gumberoo has closed its doors for reasons that Pandora insists are not her fault. She changes the subject anytime anyone asks about that, but she cannot quite hide the pain lurking behind her unseeing eyes when she does so. The apartment building that she lived in before joining the band was condemned; another occurrence that she claims is not her fault.

Pamela’s brother Christopher has been to visit three times already in the three weeks she has been with the group. He calls her, “Damn Pam.” Christopher, a biomedical researcher at Shiawase Seattle, wants Pandora to return to the corporation. She has refused to say much about that as well. If not for the fact they have heard Pandora screaming at Christopher exactly where he can shove the deal her parents made to get her amnesty with Shiawase, they would not know that much.

Pandora has an absolutely wizzer deck. From the way she keeps it close, she values her deck more than her own life. As of yet, no one has gotten a very good look at it. At a casual glance, no one has been able to identify the brand or model.

Pandora is fairly short, and the fact that she usually slouches only intensifies this impression. She is rail thin, mainly because she jacks in for days at a time and forgets minor details like eating. She keeps her jet-black hair cropped short in sort of a messy, punk version of a page-boy cut, but she leaves the bangs long so that they fall over her eyes, veiling them from causal view. She is constantly having to shove them out of her eyes. When you can see them, her eyes are somewhere between ice blue and slate gray. Since she cannot see, her eyes are never focused on anything and often drift independently of one another which some find disconcerting. Since she rarely ventures away from her keyboard and out into the sunlight, Pandora is extremely pale.

Pandora pays little attention to her clothing; comfort and ease of dress are far more important to her than fashion sense. She generally settles for comfortably faded blue jeans or sweatpants and oversized T-shirts or pull-over sweaters. In the rare cases she wears anything else, her outfits are mismatched in color, pattern, or both.

Despite her lack of sight, Pandora is generally not bitter about life. She is energetic and optimistic. She loves to hear herself talk... Pandora is extremely independent and often takes even polite attempts to help as pity. When others do express pity for her condition, she reacts either with scorn or anger depending on her mood or circumstances. Like her namesake, she has an active curiosity that can get her into trouble at times. Little phases her and she rebounds quickly from setbacks. However, she does, at times, exhibit a rather dark sense of humor.

Asmai is the hostess at Eye of the Needle on the evening-to-close shift. She is a beautiful elven Asian woman who usually wears short, hip hugging satin evening gowns with plunging necklines to emphasize her amazing, trim body. She stands about 5’6” and has a well-practiced bright smile.

Daisy is an 8-year-old elven street urchin who works for G.H. She is also an Eagle Shaman. Skye met Daisy in Astral space near the Eye of the Needle before the ice cream truck music summoned her to report to G.H.

Dez is one of Simpleton’s bodyguards. She is a huge Amazon of a woman who no one would doubt could play lead heavy for the Seattle Screamers, the local Urban Brawl team. Though human, the woman stands nearly 6’ 7” tall and must weigh at least 220 lbs – all of it muscle. And she is sporting enough obvious cyber to make a robot jealous. She has short-cropped brown hair the doesn’t drop below her ears or the base of her neck. She has obvious pupil-less cybereyes that are an electric aqua-blue

G.H. is an aging dwarf who more or less runs most of the seedy operations around the Space Needle. He is primarily a fagin and a pimp, but he dabbles in drugs, BTLs, illegal gambling, and anything else he can get his grubby little hands into. G.H. runs the collections side of his operation from a motorcycle-pulled ice cream cart attached as a sidecar.

Skye followed G.H. astrally, but he caught her at it. She learned that he can Astrally perceive and guesses that he may be a physical adept. Skye asked G.H. about Bone Biter’s missing wallet, and he gave her both the name of the pickpocket and something that Bone Biter might try to get his mother’s ashes back.

Gravel is a human tween street urchin who works for G.H. he is the one that Headstone and Tears in Rain saw dash from the bushes near the fountain on Space Circe Drive.

Mudge is tween dwarf street urchin who works for G.H. He is a skilled pocket fisher.

Simpleton is one of Seattle’s most influential spiders. It’s said when you drop his name in conversation, it leaves a mark on the table. People say Simpleton knows half of Seattle. His contacts tend to be corporate and government. He sometimes works as a Johnson for companies that prefer not to have one of their own make arrangements with shadowrunners.

Simpleton started out in Atlanta as a small-time fixer who used the streetname Dashiell. Dashiell was a small-time fixer in Atlanta; he worked mostly near Little 5 Points and handled mostly corporate and university business. He helped them make connections in the shadows when they needed them. Then 10-15 years ago, something ugly happened. Seems Dashiell accidentally crossed the wrong people. He ended up half dead. His girlfriend ended up in intensive care. Most of his network got wiped out. The survivors scattered to the four winds. Dashiell himself, after cashing in some marker with a healing mage, went to ground, seemed to disappear off the face of the world.

But Dashiell went to ground in Seattle He re-emerged a few years later, not as a fixer, at least not at first, but as a shadowrunner, running with a pretty hard-edged team. Over time, he started building up a new network, growing to be not a fixer this time so much as a spider, an information broker. But, laying low, he no longer uses the name Dashiell. Instead, the streetname he uses is ‘Simpleton.’

Jingle is a 9-year-old, Sioux street urchin who lives near the Space Needle and works for G. H. Jingle is the girl that Bone Biter saw go down the slide in the play area near the Space Needle.

Spiff is Simpleton’s other bodyguard. He is a Chinese teen, perhaps 16 or 17 years old. He is rather short, even given his Asian descent, and on the slender side of average. Spiff sports no obvious cyberware. Though seemingly young to be a bodyguard, the teen carries himself with a confident air, and he holds a hard edge in his eyes

Bruce is the bartender at The Comet’s Tail. He is former military, though no one seems to know where he served. Apparently, Bruce’s eyesight was damaged in the war; he seems unable to read the age on any SIN or ID. Bruce makes sure that no one messes with his girls. They may work topless, but they are not sex workers. If you ask him, he runs a clean place. Bruce also makes a few extra nuyen as a bookie; in particular, he is also a promoter for the Spector’s Speedway.

Slim Jim is a forty-something mother of three now adult children. She is an accomplished car thief who has taught all three of her daughters her trade. Slim Jim usually breaks her pilfered vehicles down for parts because they are harder to trace and easier to sell. She occasionally takes ‘special orders’ if she has a client looking for a specific make and model. According to Basil, “That bird can strip a car to component parts faster than anyone I’ve ever seen – myself included. It’s a beauty to watch.”
