Oh, there’s no rest in a hospital!
I go for a hip replacement on Monday. Outpatient if all goes well.

Fingers crossed. Might be a small lesion by the pituitary gland pressing on my optic nerve. If it really is there, it’s likely benign and surgically treatable if that makes the most sense.

Fingers crossed here that they can treat that well and quickly!

If it’s real. I won’t know until later today. Maybe not until tomorrow. Until then, I’ll just have hit refresh waiting for posts to answer. Sigh.

Re: The Starport Dive
Fingers are still crossed. But, how many fingers am I holding up right now?

Whoa! We're all having a Medical August aren't we? I'm leaving for a Doctor's appointment as soon as I send this (just a "wellness check." Have another tomorrow a pre-op for an "outpatient procedure" for a kidney stone next W, and then another (different) MD appointment the day after the procedure. I assume there will be followup's about the procedure in the coming weeks as well.
I don't think anything I've got rises to the hip or eye thing at this point though. Best to both of you.

Watch out Eris those "wellness checks" are how they lure you in!

Hey, recent veteran of that, I did not have double vision, but I was told my vision would shrink from top and bottom, luckily mine was caught before and symptoms. I had a benign adenoma on my gland was pushing on my optic nerve.terrymixon wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 4:08 pmFingers crossed. Might be a small lesion by the pituitary gland pressing on my optic nerve. Easy surgery, headaches for a 3 weeks and off for three weeks, nose bleed and done, at least for me.
PM me if you have any other questions.
