Ace in the Hole (SR 3) Campaign Request

The campaign name is "Ace in the Hole."

The ruleset I will be using is Shadowrun (3rd edition).

Here is my recruiting thread link: viewtopic.php?t=13829.

I want to run for 4-8 players. I currently have 4 confirmed. I have two more who might join. I contacted four friends from my PBeM days. One of them messaged me back and said that he and his wife want to play. I just sent him the Unseen Servant link. So, that would be six.

Can you also please make me private threads for archolewa, shaidar, Gremlin, and Juramenta. I will have to send you the request for the other two once they join, and I get their information. But knowing most of my PBeM games, I suspect I will need private threads for everyone.

A new forum -- Ace in the Hole (SR 3) -- has been set up and placed at the end of the list of games, just above the 'Scenario Simulator (All the Rules!)' forum.

Your requested private forums have also been created. Just let us know if/when any more are required for new players that join, or if you decided you want a private forum for yourself.


You have been set as the moderator for your forum, and you should also be able to make 'sticky' posts. To add users to your group so that they can post in your forum, follow the instructions outlined here: How to add players to your campaign.

Please consult the 'How to make and find your campaign ID' if you're unfamiliar with the Unseen Servant dice roller.

My screen looks nothing like the ones in the example. I found my campaign, but I don't se Manage Users anywhere. When I selected it and hit submit, a message came up asking me if I want to join this group. I'd attach screenshots, but I don't know how.

I answered this in the help thread.

Click on your name icon.
Then User Control Panel followed by User Groups, then Manage Group then scroll.down to Edit membership.

No, sorry, it doesn't. I go there. Nothing changes. If I select Ace in the Hole and then click Edit Membership, nothing happens.

Also, if I navigate to the Ace in the Hole campaign forum, I don't have any options to add threads or add posts or anything. I can't do as much there as I can here.

I actually just walked through the setup steps again, and I noticed that I did skip a step.

Ok. Dave might have just tweaked giving you permissions in the Ace thread.

No, sorry, it doesn't. I go there. Nothing changes. If I select Ace in the Hole and then click Edit Membership, nothing happens.

Should be able to Manage Users and add members to the group once your GM permission has been ratified.

Okay... Now I was able to add members!!! Yay!

And now Add Topic shows up! Yay!
