The forensics unit comes up blank. Being in vacuum, it's a little out of its depth. There is nothing on the back trail. Looks like no one other than yourselves have been here in a very, very long time.

That does seem likely. Let's say the Walt and William test that theory.

The outer doors close, pressure and heat build up, and the inner doors open leading to tubes and a room. I'll post the map and you can then test opening the doors again. The air drains away, and the outer doors open, allowing the group to decide what to do next. The two drones can explore the room ahead and the tubes to their conclusions without you. The signal is good enough for that.



Let's assume you send them into the room ahead of you first.

This large ovoid chamber holds machinery, but it seems to have been partially disassembled and some of it removed. None of it seems active.

Actions? Someone other than William will have to take front for the moment.

The statues seem to have been carved out of a pillar of stone. It looks as if the artist melted the stone away rather than cutting it. Similar to the way the disintegrator did to Mad Dog's first ship, only a lot more precise and small scale.

"I suppose when the time comes, there is always the repair drones," Roscoe said. "Even so, our ship is full. We'd need to unload cargo to get anything aboard."

These rooms and tubes are made of native stone and noting pops. The lighting still manages to come from everywhere and nowhere, so that's odd.

"Like Roscoe said, we have no space. I suppose this is worth more but selling it might take a great deal of time and be a delicate job. Flooding the market will definitely bring unwanted attention. Besides, there may be even more valuable items deeper in.

"I don't know if anyone realizes it, but finding a site in even this condition is a truly amazing find. It might be best to pick some plums for ourselves and sell it to Treegarden. That gets us off the hook for selling it anyway and means the Imperials won't come hunting us down. She said she was a member of Omicron Division--whatever that is--and I have no desire to end up on her bad side. Maybe it will be worth enough to get her to remove the restrictions on the ship."

Rather than leaving any unexplored areas behind us, I suggest we look at the room on the left-hand branch and see what wonders it holds."

"Possibly, but she isn't here, and we have no easy way to ask," Metz said. "She's a bit sizable to haul down here and cart around. On the other hand, her work was very focused. She might know little to nothing about many aspects of what we are seeing. I suppose we could send someone back to ask."
