Easily located. The weapons are energy weapons, but you see no beam. They do some damage, but it seems a bit underwhelming. That is until it blows part of the wall out, having somehow bypassed the armor of natural rock and causing damage deeper in.

You can allow Bills to do the install of only the requested items and have no recovery time at all or one day with Metz. Metz is fine with doing it either way. Let me know which option you pick.

William counts noses as the ship lands and people start getting suited up. He suits up as well and selects a series of skill slots that make sense. "This is primarily a recon. No violence. Given the choice we back off and reevaluate."

The group piles onto grav bikes. Eight of you can fit onto four and make the run in toward the ruins. As you are approaching, Roscoe will send the spybots ahead. Those of you with neural links can tap into the feed and see what they do. The rest will have to do with descriptions.

The images Mad Dog took are still accurate enough, so that confirms you're in the right place. What's new is a medium-sized pressurized habitat. It's set up in the open area beside the crashed ship. From some of the work done opening that ship up, it's obvious that they've been delving into it to learn its secrets.

As in the videos you watched off Mad Dog's slate, there are a number of domes scattered about the crater and one larger one toward the center. That one has been opened up and it's easy to see that the large globes are gone even from a distance.

There are airlocks set up on some of the smaller domes, so the explorations must be continuing. The large warehouse is opened up as well and all the loose debris seems to have been removed.

The one area where you know there is something functioning is the wall of the crater where the disintegrator beam fired from. That area seems free of activity. Perhaps Mad Dog never specified where the beam came from. Either that or it was looked at and they are done with it. No matter the case, there isn't any evidence that area was dug up.

There are no signs of people out and about. Either they are in the habitat, off exploring one of the domes, a mixture of both, or there is no one down here. There aren't any small craft, so that's possible.

That’s enough time to get a look around. It’s empty. Not even any personal belongings. It looks as if the occupants have left for a while.

I can take a peek in the warehouse and each of the other structures as well. It’ll drain me a little, but I think it’s the safest way to gain Situational Awareness. Perhaps I should save a scan of the Disintegrator Beam for last, when we’re out of the site…. Save that for last in case I set something off. Thoughts? Let me look at the warehouse….
