I also know around here there are those that are not so picky about Imperial certifications when they need to haul around surplus personnel on ice. These things worth 50 each new but I could let them go at 20 each no questions asked."

After much dickering, you come to a deal at Cr16,000 each or Cr192,000 total. Sim grumbles about you skinning him alive.

"Now about that turret you got there." Sim says, "Quarter million credits, firm!" He won't budge on that figure.

The work Sim's company is doing over the next week (if you want it done fast - 3 days, he's going to charge you 1.5 the following):

30k for the mil-spec transponder
24k for 4 ID's and papers (6k each: 1 to match your current ID, 1 Swordy, and what about the other 2 and do you want more than 4?)

Flighty nods his appreciation at Donovan's trading prowess but says nothing.

You'll need to move your ship over to my Yard and you can't live on it while we're doing the work on the fake turret, so you'll have to take rooms in the Warren for a few days. You'll also need to warehouse all your cargo that you're not selling, but what you've paid for the dock will be transferred over to cover both those charges. I can pull the things I bought out of your hole once it's over in the Yard."

OOC: We won't play out moving the ship over to CRR's Yard and moving the cargo you didn't sell to a warehouse. I'll add what you earned and deduct what you spent and you can move on to 1. She helps Zaki with re-supply including healthy amounts of protein (fish if she can source it from the water world "prime") and veggies.

Zaki pauses while her HUD flickers. "Wolves are pack carnivores, at least generally, as there are over thirty thousand known animals that carry that moniker in some form. Your reference apparently leads back to ancient Terra, as does much of the Sword Worlds' mythos. You don't look much like a canid, unless you count the animal hair analog clothing decorations many of your contemporaries seem to favor." She grins. "Since you have special dietary requests, you can help me shop for our commissary."

She replies casually "Wolves became more than that to the human psyche. Stealthy noises from the deep of the forest, eyes gleaming at the very edge of the fire's light - creatures of the dark. That's what my Raiders became for the Imperials".

"Some Sword World warriors favour animalistic totems and join with their spirits in battle. So berserkir or "bear shirts" borrow the great strength and anger of a bear to shrug off wounds and batter their enemies. Of course others simply wear skins or reproductions of pelts to emulate those with a true connection".

Let's lock up or take with us anything incriminating and go enjoy somewhere other than these four bulkheads. We do need to decide on our next several destinations so Zaki and I can get cargo and maybe even passengers."
