I currently have a face to face group, but we've got a few members with life stuff going on that is keeping them from making it to sessions for the foreseeable future, so I am going to run some side adventures here on the forum so they can still get in on the action. To be fair, it's been a long time since I've run anything play by post, so hopefully this will work well for what we're doing, it's a bit of an experiment. So, as far a players go, it will currently be specific by-invitation folks.

I think you'll quickly find that this is a great place to host play-by-post games. We have a really helpful community here, so feel free to ask any questions you might have and someone will be glad to assist.

That said...

A new forum -- Sundered Realms Away Team (OSE) -- has been set up and placed at the end of the list of games, just above the 'Scenario Simulator (All the Rules!)' forum.

You have been set as the moderator for your forum, and you should also be able to make 'sticky' posts. To add users to your group so that they can post in your forum, follow the instructions outlined here: How to add players to your campaign.

Please consult the 'How to make and find your campaign ID' if you're unfamiliar with the Unseen Servant dice roller.


Feel free to reply if you have any questions or issues and an admin will be able to assist.

That's cool! And it's awesome that you're jumping right in.

I'd be willing to bet that you'll grow to appreciate what play-by-post (and this forum) can offer, and what you're doing for side quests now, you'll do for an actual full game at some point.

As a GM or player.

I'd encourage you to take a look at some of the current games being run, regardless of the rule system being used, to get some ideas on how other GMs organize their games. There are a lot of creative folks here!
