ELROOD SECTOR: Episode Three: Wheelin', Dealin' and Fishin'

Zuul feels the relaxing sensation of an impending battle creep up on him. He relishes these moments.

"Tha—whoah, hold… ah, there we go, noth—ah! …Got it now, piece of… Watch out!—no, there we are…" The young Jedi Vale slides the AQ-5 effortlessly against the wind, over white crested curls. "See? It's not so hard. Just like cruising in the SoroSuub family speeder through Mild Canyon back h—Ahh, hold on! Whoops, yeow! Sorry about that… Okay, there we are. Smooth sailing, no problem."

As the comms kick in, Vale looks around in a panic, mouthing What should we say? Did we have a plan for this? Hesitantly, he leans toward the mic assembly. "Base, this is TK 5…31. Err, we have a problem. Computer diagnostics reporting a crack in the port side flotilla, uh, possible leaking. Coming in to redock… over?"

Imperial Aquatic Garrison Base on the Planet Alluuvia in the Drift; Elrood Sector


The team of NRI Agents; now also officially 'Allies to the Anguilla Peoples'; went about the attack of the Imperial Aquatic Garrison Base on the planet....to both eliminate the Empire's troops that had massacred some peaceful Anguilla AND to make use of the powerful Comms on the Base to contact RMC and get some aide and officially agree to terms so that Mining of needed resources could begin and an Alliance between the New Republic and the Natives of the Planet could occur.....


-Vale, Kit, Zuul and Kato:

Vale moved the large AQ-5 towards the gargantuan Floating Garrison Base SOMEWHAT smoothly, slowing down as he aimed towards the massive gates and doing his best to not stare at the powerful twin Turbolaser Turrets atop the spires while also hoping no TIEs came launching out of the large 'Chute' openings from the Hangar Bay as the comms crackled to life after his reply to a question as to why they had returned here early from patrol....

"TK 531, did you just say that there's a leak coming from a crack in your port side FLOTILLA?" A somewhat muffled voice in the background could be heard saying, "-That's gotta be Jorgins...that dope wouldn't know a pontoon from a Giant Ithorian maranga fruit-" "-quiet!....ahem..."Roger TK 531, return to dock 3 and we'll get that PONTOON looked at...."; the original voice, sounding smug and mocking came back on-line.....

The gates opened and Vale moved the large Wave-Skimmer into the 'docking bay' (literallY!) and saw a quartet of docks, one with another massive AQ-5 tied to it while the others were empty, he saw a gray uniformed Imperial waving him towards the third from the left (and empty) Dock. A few other Imperials could be seen walking around, some entering the Garrison base via an open Blast Door. From the large troop compartment, Zuul and Kit looked out the front of the cockpit and took in the size of the place along with Vale and Kato in the cockpit. Zuul could see the top of the main command center on its central spire, as well as the launch chutes for the TIEs and the Turbolaser Turrets. Luckily, now the Turrets could not depress enough to engage them.....and their own large Twin Heavy Lasers COULD engage any of those targets (the Command Center, the Turbolaser Turrets and the Chutes for the TIEs).....and the Barabel could tell if they smashed the Chutes, the TIEs couldn't launch and wouldn't be a problem......

With a somewhat harder bump than intended, Vale came to a stop against the base as the AQ-5 'docked' and the Imperial outside started to tie the mooring lines to keep the Waveskimmer in place. The hatch and attacked ladder were in the hands of an Anguilla, ready to make their assault as they all awaited the 'word'....

A moment later, Vale and Kato clearly heard over the comms the voice of Kael as he called out; "The undersea hatch is open, repeat the undersea hatch is open! Launch the Attack!" and a moment later they heard Anyar acknowledge the comms and send her undersea contingent racing for the open hatch. The time was now!

-Clark and Kael:

Professor Clark replied to the 'Code Querry' over the Comms from the Imperials as he and Kael waited under the sub-surface doors to the Garrison and attempted to convey that his Comms were down. There was a long, anxious pause under the water as the Sea-Trooper Armor/Suit wearing NRI Agents glanced anxiously at each other; then they heard; "Looks like we've got another bad comms unit....this cursed place.....Alright AZ-47, you're cleared to enter the base; we'll have a maintenance team sent down to check out your comms, over."

With that, a deep thrumming sound filled the water as the twin doors on the bottom of the Garrison opened and the NRI Agents saw their way into the Base was open and Kael didn't waste a moment as he flicked on his comms and told the surface group and Anyar's group of Anguilla out in the water that the time to attack was NOW! With that, Kael and Clark gunned their Sea Skimmers and rose up to the surface inside the Garrison base to find a team of three gray suited Imperial Maintenance techs reeling back at the rapid emergence of the vehicles and the spray of water that went flying their way. Of more concern were the two SeaTroopers who had just entered the docking bay from a hatch that presumably led to the rest of the garrison. They were carrying the Harpoon Guns, but had no reason to suspect them...yet.....but were clearly surprised by the rapid ascent and would soon learn of the rapidly approaching Anguilla.....

Kael has no choice, he pops out of the hatch and fires at the Sea Trooper immediately with his blaster.

"We can't have them turn around and warn anyone.

Seeing that fighting is the only option, Kato follows Kael out of the hatch and fires his blaster at any hostile he sees.

Hey amigo, Kael is entering the hatch on the underwater part of the base with Clark; Kato is with everyone else on the surface dock. However, he can certainly throw the hatch open (which also deploys a rope ladder to climb down) and start shooting st some Imperials. Sorry if I described this poorly.

Clark also quickly fires at the Sea Troopers. Once they are taken down, he will aim at (but not shoot) the technicians, hoping to cow them to inactivity.

Kit will get climb out of the hatch, get to some cover and then start shooting at imperials with her blaster carbine.

Vale eyes those juicy targets from the transport's windshield. As soon as Kael's voice comes through the comms unit with an order to attack, Vale flips the safeties on the transport's twin lasers and starts gunning at the command center! Then the TIE chutes!! Then the turbolasers!!!

Zuul

Zuul points to the juicy targets at the same time Vale starts aiming. "Heheh. See you out there."

The Barabel quickly follows Kit out and starts firing at the poor dock worker.

Imperial Aquatic Garrison Base on the Planet Alluuvia in the Drift; Elrood Sector


On a lovely, sunny day with scattered white clouds....the smell of the ocean filling their nostrils....the team of NRI Agents; now also officially 'Allies to the Anguilla Peoples'; along with some 20 Anugilla warriors, launched an assault on the Imperial Aquatic Garrison Base on the planet....


-Vale, Kit, Zuul and Kato:

In the cockpit of the Waveskimmer, Vale went about firing the powerful twin laser cannon of the 'Wave Walker' at the Base's Command Center...he was NOT a very good gunner, but luckily, the target was fairly large and close....and MUCH more importantly, the powerful Twin Turbolaser Turrets were NOT designed to fire down, so they had no way to hit him and he had a lot of time. After a few blasts, he was able to direct the shots into the glass-filled area and he felt a certain satisfaction as the center exploded and a cloud of flames and glass burst outward. Now, onto the TIE Fighter launching chutes....

Kato moved quickly to the hatch behind the cockpit and just ahead of the Troop Bay and he pressed it open, which also deployed the ladder that now hit the dock. He drew his Sporting Blaster Pistol and fired at the Dock Worker, who was looking up in a panic when the Transport started opening fire. His shot hit the Worker in the arm and he dropped with a yell, clutching his wound as Kit, Zuul and the large Anguilla all brushed past the Quixotic 'Jedi' and made their way down the ladder. Following after them, the young man feels his heart-beat rise quickly as the thrill of the moment washes over him...

Kit'katarra readies her Blaster Carbine and when Kato throws the hatch open and the ladder deploys, she gracefully and quickly descends....the climb briefly transporting her back to her days as a Wookie youngling on Kashyyyk. Dropping to the Dock, she races up, ignoring the wounded Imperial Dock Worker who's clutching his arm and sprinting for the open Blast Door leading into the Garrison Base. She sees a pair of Gray Suited Imperials, one frozen in fear and the other starting to draw a weapon as the Waveskimmer opens fire. She fires a shot from her Carbine and the man spins around and drops to the ground, never to rise again.....

Zuul, after gleefully pointing out places for Vale to blast, readies his weapons and follows Kit out the hatch and down the ladder. He hits the dock, sees the wounded Imperial Worker and blasts him again, this time putting him out of his misery. Hearing the Anguilla rushing down after him, he notes that Kit is racing forward towards open Blast Doors. A pair of Imperials are there, one goes for a weapon and gets put down by Kit while the other is standing there in shocked fear, unmoving. The Anguilla start racing forwards, some peeling off to chase a couple of fleeing Imperials at another dock, but most following towards the open Blast Doors. Zuul can hear the heavy blasts of the Waveskimmer's cannons a few times before finally the lovely sound of an explosion fills his ears. Vale had finally hit something. The the annoying sounds of alarms start echoing out from inside the Garrison....

OOC: Okay, the only visible Imperials are the guy who's terrified and not moving and a few on a nearby dock who are fleeing and being chased by 3 or 4 Anguilla. The Open Doors are only about 5 meters in front of Kit and Zuul and maybe 10 meters for the rest of the Anguilla and Kato behind them.


-Clark and Kael

Quickly dismounting their vehicles, Clark and Kael; in Seatrooper armor, get out of the water and engage the pair of Seatroopers who had just walked into the undersea launch and recovery bay and they manage to drop both troopers in their surprise attack. Both turn to the 3 Imperial Techs who were standing their with tools, about to go to work on their 'supposedly defective' vehicles and the three react in different ways....

One Tech drops his tools and just raises his hands, terrified sounds coming from his mouth that aren't clear words. Another drops his tools and HIMSELF to the ground and covers his head in his hands, yelling out, "DON'T BLAST ME, DON'T BLAST ME, I JUST GOT CONSCRIPTED INTO THIS AWFUL JOB"; while the last whirls around and hits the alarm button and the room is immediately bathed in flashing lights and the echo of the annoying alarms start ringing in their ears....

OOC: Okay, there's open doors leading into the rest of the Base; you know it'll be a few minutes before the Anguilla can swim up to join you and you have 3 Imperial Techs in front of you....two clearly terrified and one hitting the alarm....

"Stand Down and Lay Down troopers."

Kael shoots at the button mashing trooper and rushes for the main passageway to make sure the door stays open and not overeridden.

Kit continues until she is past the blast door and looks for cover on the other side. Once there she will blast anyone she thinks is a threat.

Vale

"I got one! I got one!" Vale ecstatically swivels the cannons over and around, struggling to aim at the TIE chutes.

[kipper]

"The cat's out of the bag now, but it was bound to happen anyway," Clark grumbles to himself when the alarm goes off. He begins to approach the technicians: "Keep your heads down and no one..." he flinches as Kael's shot blasts out towards the alarm-ringer, "... no one else will get hurt." He joins Kael at the doorway, but has most of his attention back towards the technicians in case another one tries to be a hero.

Kato tries to keep his blaster steady despite the nervousness and adrenaline of the fight. He tries not to be too thrilled about the battle. He knows that while Jedis say they never use the force for offense, they seem to be more lax about using blasters for offense. Still, the whole anger thing seems like it's frowned upon no matter what the weapon, and it seems wrong to take glee in destruction, whether it's cause by a lightsaber or a blaster.

He looks around to the others for what to do next.

As he moves to join Kit, Zuul looks for the blast door controls, hoping to keep them open.

"What wass the plan again? He asks as they find cover to shoot the presumably oncoming troops.

Imperial Aquatic Garrison Base on the Planet Alluuvia in the Drift; Elrood Sector


On a lovely, sunny day with scattered white clouds on the mostly Ocean filled world of Alluvia, a team of NRI Agents; now also officially 'Allies to the Anguilla Peoples'; along with some 20 Anugilla warriors, continued their assault on the Imperial Aquatic Garrison Base on the planet....


-Vale, Kit, Zuul and Kato:

From the cockpit of the pirated Waveskimmer, Vale continued to blast away at the Imperial Aquatic Garrison, yelling out with glee as he managed to successfully direct his fire to the TIE Fighter launch chutes and smash them to bits, preventing any Imperial Fighters from taking off......

Meanwhile, down on the surface level of the Garrison Base, Kit, Zuul and Kato held the open Blast door position, blasting away at the few Stormtroopers or Imperial personnel who attempted to fight them and then all were nearly smashed aside as the 20 Anguilla Warriors rushed into the garrison in a Frenzy.....their spears gleaming sharp and no doubt ready to be USED....

After a strange moment of calm when the 3 realized they were all in the now empty doorway alone, they all shrugged and Kato remembered they should probably try to take the Comms Center, so they could get a message out to RMC back on Elrood and make the Mining Claim official. Kit realized the Comms center would almost certainly be above them, and they moved into the base and noticed a Turbolift (Elevator) in front of them and they all noticed the bodies of Imperials strew here and there, along with one Wounded Anguilla Warrior seated on the floor with her back to the Wall and clutching a wound on her side from a Blaster Bolt....


-Clark and Kael:


Kael fires a blast and drops the Tech that hit the alarm and the remaining two Imperials collapse on the floor, going into fetal positions as they wail in fear. The NRI Agents moves quickly towards the door, attempting to figure out how to ensure it stays open long enough for the Anguilla Warriors to swim up and into the base to help them capture it.....

Professor Clark winces as his companion drops the imperial Tech who hit the alarm with his Blaster and he calls for the other two to 'Stand Down and Lay Down'...well, they drop and curl into balls on the floor as they wail in fear, so.....more or less they comply with his orders.....

The one time Academic sees his companion move towards the side of the open door to the controls while he hears over the sounds of the alarm the echoing sound of armored boots coming closer and closer.....

Kit will move to the Wounded Anguilla Warrior and use a med kit.

Satisfied that the technicians are sufficiently cowed, Clark quickly moves to place some cover between himself and the doorway through which the sounds of approaching footsteps is heard. He crouches down and takes aim with his blaster rifle, he will fire upon the troopers as soon as they appear in the doorway.
