Once a week update rate is just fine with me.

I prefer quality over quantity in my gaming.

Not sure if it is just me, but I am seeing the memes but all the other images are not working (like the map you are talking about)

Try now. Apparently the photo album I've been uploading them to was set to private.

Sorry no luck here. When I first started on this board I did the same thing (loading to an external album) and had all kinds of challenges. I just use the attachment tab just below the new post screen and it works great for files 2 MB and smaller.

Dang. This host used to be the best option for the site, but something must have screwed it over since the last time I ran a game. I'll see what I can do to fix things around tonight.

That's an interesting list of items for purchase.

Anyone else think that Locate Object Crystal might come in handy at some point? :D

What about that treasure map? Likely a fake of some kind?

Should we each take a chunk of the group fund for those who want to buy stuff?

I would love to buy something and the locate object is an excellent idea considering our mission, but my concern is we really should figure our transportation out first.

In full disclosure, the list was determined via the treasure tables in the draft, but I made more than necessary and dropped a few obviously useless or obviously overpowered results. It's not exactly the list I'd make if I handpicked everything, but I'm pleased with the variety of possibilities!

The magic tables are just different enough that it was fun seeing what they came up with.

Also, regarding transport, an air speeder is by far the quickest option, but you will have a very hard time explaining yourselves if stopped by patrols. Air travel is forbidden. From your planetary scans, you can expect to run into patrols both at designated rest stops, and as a normal result of daily wilderness encounter chances.

If you ever decide to go exploring the space station, either here or if the game goes beyond the immediate adventure, an airspeeder will get you there.

I recommend the landspeeder that sits 4, for 110 credits leaving 7,890 credits from our common fund.

7,890 divided among the four of us is 1,972.50 each, should we want to do a split approach.

However, the various objects are truly in use as a group effort so common ownership and best usage as called for seems the jedi way to approach it.

I haven’t read the spell particulars, but yes Locate Object would be helpful to find spice. Healing is always useful to supplement our one cleric spell.

For the treasure map, let’s ask to take a look at it for authenticity and then take a picture of it with our phones.

First: Thanks for playing along with this quick-and-dirty version of start-of-journey gossip and equipping yourselves. Just imagine that all of the information, item discovery, and prices all came naturally as part of the lengthier encounter. I normally don't have magic item shops, but this seemed a good way to hand out starting items within the context.

Second: I've fixed up sharing and embedding permissions on the photos, and they all load for me after I've logged out of everything and cleared caches. Can everyone double check to see if they're now loading for you too? If not, I'll either go back and embed everything directly to the posts, or ask in the admin forum what hosting service is recommended these days.

I can see all of them except the 2 in this post. I can see the one under the spoiler though.

I have cleared my cache and tried in incognito mode the images do not appear for me. If I right click on the image and select Open Image in New Tab I can see, but otherwise no.

I actually see fewer pics now.

Other than a couple of the animated GIF's, all I see is the little image icon with no pics.
