It really goes to the purpose of the connections. The intent is to draw the party together with a web of links and two connections between the same players really doesn't add to that. That's why they allow a maximum of two, and not between the same players.

He's in the process of moving, so I'm going to say that you have a connection and will still have to work out the details with him when he pops back up.

Terry, I've never, ever, been a big "background in advance" person (I tend to discover my PC's during play), so this is all pretty hard for me. Trying to wrap my head around all this...

Spicoli worked with Naval Intelligence and then Hortalez et Cie (they started as spies and gun runners after all ), but he was an analyst, not a field operative. Walter seems like a field operative sort of guy from what I've read.

Maybe, in the term where Walter was Law Enforcement he is the one that figured out it was Spicoli that stole the "device", but he was the one that ended up carrying the can when the great and mighty got done with their re-arrangement of the case. The two of them had to work together to keep from being the scape goats for a high level operation. As it was, they barely squeaked out a way to wiggle out of taking a "long fall." In the end, Spicoli was allowed to "retire" branded a thief, Walter got tagged as a dirty cop and was fired, and the two of them had a...not friendship...but grudging respect for each other and the knowledge they worked pretty well together?

Maybe, this understanding continued into the Bounty Hunter term. where they worked together again. Spicoli did the hacking and forensics with his skills to identify and find the mark while Walter did the leg work and the actual taking down of the target?

Would that work for you and ravenspoe?

I'm agreeable to whatever you guys do. If you don't want to have an intricate connection, it could be as simple as just having met one another. I'm easy and would still let you get the extra skill or skill level.
